Panathinaikos OPAP Athens continued shoring up its backcourt on Tuesday by signing point guard Kendrick Perry to make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut next season. Their deal is for one year with the option for another.

Perry (1.85 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana, where he was the third-ranked performer in his first 7DAYS EuroCup season with an average PIR of 19.2 over 16 games. He ranked third among all EuroCup players in assists with 6.1 per game, fifth in scoring with 16.1 points, and eighth in steals with 1.4 on average. Perkins and Olimpija won the Slovenian League title together this spring. Perkins started his professional career with Sydney Kings of Australia and has also played for Iowa of the D-League, Egis Kormend and Szolnoki Olaj of Hungary, Karpos Sokoli 2000 Skopje of North Macedonia, Nizhny Novgorod of Russia, and Mega Bemax Belgrade of Serbia. He helped Karpos Sokoli win the North Macedonian Cup in 2017 and also won the Hungarian league and cup double with Szolnoki in 2018.
