Kamagate started his professional career with Orleans Loiret Basket in his native France and he also played for Centre Federal de Basket-Ball, formerly known as INSEP. Despite his young age, he has already been a member of the French national team, too. Last season, Kamagate helped Paris reach the EuroCup Quarterfinals and he earned Round 6 MVP honors, getting 12 points, 19 rebounds and 4 blocks for a career-high PIR of 41 in a home win against Veolia Hamburg Towers. Now, Kamagate is leaving his native France for the first time in his career, and it will be fascinating to see if he can translate his high-level defensive play to the next level in his rookie EuroLeague season.
