The Crvena Zvezda big man may be done for the regular season
Joel Bolomboy out 3-6 weeks with ankle sprain

Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade will be without center Joel Bolomboy heading into the final stretch of the regular season after he suffered an ankle strain in his team's 80-82 defeat to EA7 Emporio Armani Milan on Thursday night.
Bolomboy went down with an ankle injury late in the fourth quarter, with 1:27 minutes remaining, and had to be carried off the court by teammates Codi Miller-McIntyre and John Brown.
"Our club's center, Joel Bolomboy, has suffered a moderate-to-severe ankle sprain, with no signs of a fracture, which will require 3-6 weeks on the sidelines depending on the speed of his recovery," Crvena Zvezda announced on Friday.
Now in his second season with Crvena Zvezda, Bolomboy has made 18 appearances in the EuroLeague during the 2024-25 campaign, averaging 10.2 points, a league-best 8.3 rebounds and just shy of 1 rebound per game (0.9 RPG).
The Serbian side currently sits sixth in the EuroLeague standings, the final position that guarantees a place in the playoffs, with a 16-13 record. However, it is on a three-game losing skid ahead the final five games of the regular season.
