Josh Nebo (groin) to be reevaluated in two weeks
EA7 Emporio Armani Milan has confirmed that center Josh Nebo sustained a muscle injury in his left groin during the Italian side’s 93-80 defeat at AS Monaco in Round 1 of the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season.
Nebo ended up playing 22:24 minutes in what was his first game since joining Milan from Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv this past summer. In his time on the court, he amassed 7 points, 2 rebounds and 1 block.
“Olimpia Milano announces that, during the Monaco game, Josh Nebo suffered a muscle injury in his left groin area that will be reevaluated in a fortnight,” Milan confirmed in a statement on Friday night.
How Nebo recovers from this injury will determine when he returns, but the two-week prognosis means he is expected to miss Milan's next three EuroLeague games: at home to Paris Basketball (October 11) and Zalgiris Kaunas (October 17) in Rounds 3 and 5, respectively, and on the road at Olympiacos Piraeus (October 15) in Round 4.
