Kendrick Nunn re-signs with Panathinaikos through 2028

Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens fans have been given a boost ahead of the postseason as MVP candidate Kendrick Nunn has renewed his contract at OAKA until the summer of 2028.
Nunn, this season's MVP of the Month for February, has been on a tear in his second year in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, averaging a league-best 20.8 points per game, as well as 3.6 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.1 steals and a 19.9 PIR.
After helping lead Panathinaikos to its seventh EuroLeague championship last season, ending the club's 13-year wait to become European champion again, Nunn and his teammates are determined to lift back-to-back titles in Europe's premier club basketball competition.
Nunn, 29, signed for Panathinaikos in late October 2023 and made his EuroLeague debut on November 10, 2023. It took him a few games to get acclimatized, but a 19-point performance at Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade in his fifth appearance was a sign of things to come.
Since that Round 11 clash at Partizan, Nunn scored in double figures in 28 of his next 31 appearances, including averaging 19.2 points in the playoffs and 17.5 points at the Final Four, as the Greens secured Europe's crown. He was named to the All-EuroLeague First Team at the end of the playoffs.
The former NBA guard has continued that level of consistency in this current campaign by pouring in 10 points or more in 29 of his 32 games in 2024-25. Both Nunn and Panathinaikos will be hoping that a similar end to last season is on the cards as they attempt to bring an eighth star to OAKA.
