Olympiacos Piraeus and team captain Kostas Papanikolaou signed an agreement to remain together for three more years, through the end of the 2025-26 season, the club announced Thursday.
Papanikolaou (2.04 meters, 32 years old) is set to start his 13th Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season with the Reds. He averaged 8.7 points on 42.9% three-point shooting and 3.8 rebounds in 38 EuroLeague games last season, taking his team to the Championship Game. Papanikolaou also helped Olympiacos win the Greek League and Cup double.
