Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv announced the signing of small forward Rafi Menco, who arrives from fellow Israeli club Hapoel Holon. Menco (2.00 meters, 28 years old) helped Holon win the Israeli championship last season when he averaged 9.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists He also helped Holon reach the semifinals of the Basketball Champions League.

Menco began his professional career with Hapoel Jerusalem and also played for Hapoel Gilboa Galil, Hapoel Eilat and Hapoel Tel Aviv in Israel. He won the Israeli Cup in 2016 with Jerusalem. Menco also spent the 2020-21 campaign in France with Elan Chalon. He has been a regular on the Israeli national team, too.
