Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv will have to make do without the services of center Jasiel Rivero for the next four-to-six weeks after he suffered a torn hamstring, the club announced Sunday. Rivero, 31, missed three games earlier this season with a partially torn hamstring.
The native of Cuba has averaged 10.6 points and 5.1 rebounds for a PIR of 14.6 in 11 games for Maccabi this season, his second with the club and third in the EuroLeague. His PIR is sixth in the league among centers.
