Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv has confirmed that Jake Cohen will remain at the club for the 2022-23 season. Cohen (2.10 meters, 31 years old) averaged 2.2 points and 1.1 rebounds in 13 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague matches last season, of which only two were as a starter. He is currently in his third spell with Maccabi.

Cohen is heading into his seventh EuroLeague season with Maccabi, and in his previous six campaigns in the competition, he has amassed 100 games. His averages across that time stand at 2.9 points and 1.4 rebounds. He spent four years at Davidson University before joining Maccabi in 2013. Cohen ended up leaving Maccabi in 2015, but two years later he returned. Then, after departing the club for the second time in 2020, he rejoined Maccabi last summer. He has also played for Maccabi Rishon Lezion and Maccabi Ashdod of Israel, Aris Salonica BC of Greece and Obradoiro of Spain.
