The play of guards Daryl Macon of Panathinaikos OPAP Athens and Devon Hall of AX Armani Exchange Milan will be important for both teams in their Round 28 contest on Friday.
Major matchup: Macon, Panathinaikos vs. Hall, Milan
While Macon’s scoring has dipped in recent weeks, his role has not. He scored 9 points and dished a team-high 7 assists in the Greens’ loss to Zalgiris on Tuesday and with his phenomenal shooting ability, Macon can blow up any game, especially if teams switch their focus to backcourt mate Nemanja Nedovic. Macon, who has delivered at least 5 assists in each of his last three appearances, is averaging 13.1 points and 3.5 assists per game this season. He scored 14 points, but committed a season-high 5 turnovers when he faced Milan in Round 15.

Like Macon, Hall is in his first season in the EuroLeague and has been worth 9.6 points on 41.1% three-point shooting. He scored a season-high 19 points against Panathinaikos when they last met, making 5 of 7 two-point shots and 3 of 4 from downtown. Hall has scored 15 points in each of Milan’s last two games and appears to be primed for a big game in Athens.
