The Italian champs scored a season-high 111 points
Mirotic, LeDay lead Milan past Baskonia, 111-89

EA7 Emporio Armani Milan finished its Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season in style, blowing past Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz 111-89 on Thursday night. Milan finished the season with a 17-17 record, while Baskonia’s record is 14-20.
Milan had no turnovers in the first half during which Nikola Mirotic and Zach LeDay combined for 29 points. The hosts led 62-35 at the break, then conitnued to pour it on in the second half, too. When all was said and done, LeDay had 32 points, one shy of his career high and Mirotic had 23 points and 10 rebounds. Armoni Brooks scored 18, and Ousmane Diop 11 points for Milan which shot 17-for-30 from long range. Luka Samanic collected 17 points and 7 rebounds for Baskonia, while Donta Hall and Nikolaos Rogkavopoulos scored 10 apiece in a loss.

Mannion scored 6 points early, including a three-pointer, but Khalifa Diop made a pair of close range baskets and Chima Moneke a three-point play to give the visitors a 6-7 lead. It turned out to be their only advantage. Mirotic put Milan ahead and then LeDay’s triple sparked a 16-2 run during which Mirotic scored 7 straight points, before Brooks knocked down back-to-back threes to open a 29-12 advantage. A fastbreak dunk from Hall and a four-point play from Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot gave Baskonia some life and cut the deficit to 31-18 after 10 minutes.
Diego Flaccadori opened the second quarter with a three-pointer. Hall dunked again and Rogkavopoulos sank a triple to bring Baskonia within 36-23, but the hosts scored the next 14 points with LeDay and Flaccadori hitting back-to-back threes. Giampaolo Ricci scored twice from close range only to see Sander Raieste hit a corner triple for Baskonia. After Ousmane Diop dunked, Mirotic and Ricci made back-to-back threes to open a 58-27 lead. A triple apiece from Moneke and Trent Forrest helped make it 62-35 at halftime.
Baskonia showed fight after halftime. Howard had a pair of triples to get within 65-42. Mirotic scored 7 points, including a three-pointer that followed a three from LeDay, and the margin was 77-44. But Howard hit another from long range and Rogkavopoulos and Samanic each from close range, before a pair of big dunks from Hall got Baskonia within 79-57. Another basket from Samanic and a fastbreak dunk from Rogkavopoulos made it 82-61 after 30 minutes.
Milan stepped on the pedal once again in the fourth, converting after offensive rebounds from Giordano Bortolani and Mirotic, with Brooks hitting one triple and LeDay two more to make it 95-66 and the hosts cruised the rest of the way.
