If there was a silver lining to EA7 Emporio Armani Milan losing its fourth straight game 71-62 at Zalgiris Kaunas, it was the way the visitors – and one in particular – looked in the last 12 minutes.
Until then, undermanned Milan had a grand total of 33 points. Pulling teeth was easier than scoring as Milan's shooters needed 3 minutes to find the net after the opening tip and missed their first 7 three-point tries. Not much changed until the visitors trailed 45-33 with 12 minutes left, which is when newcomer Naz Mitrou-Long broke the ice with a back-to-back triples. And he was just getting started.
