Monte Morris joins Olympiacos

Olympiacos Piraeus has completed the signing of Monte Morris, who has penned a deal until the end of the 2025-26 season.
Morris (1.88 meters, 30 years old) has spent almost his entire career to date in the NBA, playing a total of 483 games in the association. His only experience outside of the NBA came in the G League, when he represented the Rio Grande Valley Vipers during his rookie season with the Denver Nuggets.
The American guard suited up for a total of six franchises during his NBA career. He was drafted by the Denver Nuggets with the 51st overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft and remained there until 2022, before playing for the Washington Wizards (2022-23), Detroit Pistons (2023-24), Minnesota Timberwolves (2023-24), Phoenix Suns (2024-25), and Indiana Pacers (2025-26).
For his career, Morris averaged 9.4 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 426 regular-season appearances. In 57 playoff games, he posted 8.3 points, 1.6 rebounds and 3.1 assists.
Morris has played alongside several current EuroLeague players during his time in the NBA, including Real Madrid's Facundo Campazzo (112 games) and Trey Lyles (70 games), Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens's Juancho Hernangomez (111 games) and Kendrick Nunn (17 games), and Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz's Markus Howard (63 games).
