Olympiacos Piraeus center Nikola Milutinov suffered an ankle injury during Sunday night’s Greek League derby against Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens that is expected to sideline him for several weeks. Milutinov collided with teammate Kostas Papanikolaou and went down in pain. He had to be helped off the court.
The 29-year-old center is coming off a dominant performance in which he posted 20 points and 20 rebounds against Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv last week to claim Round 22 MVP honors. He has averaged 8.7 points and 5.8 rebounds for a PIR of 15.3 in 20 appearances this season.
