The center joins the Reds after the news that Moses Wright is out for the season
Olympiacos signs Nathan Mensah
Olympiacos Piraeus has announced the signing of Nathan Mensah on a deal until the end of the 2024-25 season, which includes an option for the 2025-26 campaign.
Mensah (2.08 meters, 26 years old) spent the first part of this season playing for the Austin Spurs in the G League, averaging 5.3 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.9 blocks in 12 games.
He has one season of NBA experience under his belt, too, having suited up 25 times for the Charlotte Hornets in the 2023-24 season, posting 1.3 points and 2.6 rebounds in just over 12 minutes per night.
Following the news that Moses Wright will miss the rest of the season due to a health issue, Mensah's arrival gives Olympiacos more depth at center. In his second season as a professional, Mensah is coming to play in Europe for the first time.
