Olympiacos loses guard Williams-Goss for the next month
Olympiacos Piraeus announced on Wednesday that guard Nigel Williams-Goss will be sidelined for the next month after suffering an injury the night before in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague victory over Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv. Williams-Goss, 29, had an MRI under the team's medical staff which revealed a contusion at the myotendinous junction of the long head of the right leg femoris biceps.
In six games this season with the Reds, Williams-Goss averaged 10.7 points, 2.5 assists and 1 steal. This season is his fourth in the EuroLeague. Williams-Goss spent the previous two campaigns with Real Madrid, which he helped to win the EuroLeague last season. This is his second stint with Olympiacos; Williams-Goss debuted in the EuroLeague with the Reds in 2018.
