Panathinaikos BC Athens announced on Tuesday that it has agreed a deal to extend Lefteris Bochoridis's contract for another year. Bochoridis (1.96 meters, 28 years old) made 19 appearances for Panathinaikos in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague last season, starting in seven games, as he averaged 2.1 points, 1.0 rebound and 1.3 assists. He has featured in 74 EuroLeague games for the Greens across five seasons in the competition, during which time he has averaged 3.0 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists.

Bochoridis began his professional career with Aris BC of his native Greece in the 2010-11 season. In the summer of 2014, having established himself as a 20-minute-plus player at Aris in the 2013-14 campaign, he moved to Panathinaikos. After three seasons in a bench role with the Greens, Bochoridis returned to Aris for the next three years. Then, in 2020, he rejoined Panathinaikos and has been there ever since. Bochoridis has also represented Greece at the senior level.
