Ioannis Papapetrou has been sidelined since Round 2 and only played one Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games this season, getting 8 points, 4 rebounds, a steal and a PIR of 10 in a 78-71 victory over FC Bayern Munich. As such, Papapetrou may return in late December or early January, missing half of the regular season. He just started his second stint with Panathinaikos, after playing four seasons with the Greens from 2018 to 2022. Papapetrou re-joined Panathinaikos from Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade, where he played in the 2022-23 campaign, averaging 5.4 points and 2.3 rebounds in 38 games.
