Panathinaikos OPAP Athens added more scoring power to its backcourt by inking combo guard Andrew Andrews to a two-year deal, the club announced Saturday. Andrews (1.88 meters, 29 years old) arrives from Furtti Extra Bursapor, where he averaged 14.1 points and 4.2 assists in 20 7DAYS EuroCup games last season, reaching the championship game. He was unstoppable in Bursaspor's playoffs run, getting 24 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists in the eighthfinals against Partizan NIS Belgrade, 12 points in the quarterfinals against Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana and 20 in the semifinals against MoraBanc Andorra.

Andrews had joined Bursaspor from fellow 7DAYS EuroCup side Turk Telekom Ankara, but the teams parted ways durring training camp. In the 2020-21 season, Andrews played for Darussafaka Tekfen Istanbul, for which he averaged 16.1 points and 3.5 assists in the Turkish League in helping his team reach the playoffs. He improved those numbers to 18.2 points and 3.8 assists in the Basketball Champions League. Andrews has also played for Best Balıkesir and Buyukcekmece in Turkey, VEF Riga in Latvia, Hapoel Afula and Maccabi Haifa in Israel, and Delaware in the G-League.
