The American point guard is the newest acquisition for the club from the French capital
Paris puts its playmaking trust in Justin Robinson

Paris Basketball has a new man to run its offense with Justin Robinson signing a two-year deal, the club announced on Wednesday.
Robinson (1.87 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Trapani Sharks, where he posted 14.5 points, 6.1 assists and 3.0 rebounds in in 35 Italian League games last season, helping his team reach a second-place finish at the end of the regular season.
The American will have the tough task of filling the void left by All-EuroLeague point guard TJ Shorts, who shined in Paris's uniform the past two seasons – one in the BKT EuroCup and last season in the EuroLeague. Shorts left Paris this summer to join Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens.
Robinson is a playmaker who loves to push the tempo and run in transition, which might be just what the doctor ordered for the rebuild Paris is going through after leading Trapani’s offense, which scored an Italian League-high 94.5 points per game.
Last season was Robinson's first full campaign on European soil, having played collegiate basketball at Virginia Tech University before starting his pro career playing for the Washington Wizards in the NBA and two G League sides, the Capital City Go-Go and Delaware Blue Coats.
In the seasons that followed, he played with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Milwaukee Bucks and Detroit Pistons in the NBA, as well as the Wisconsin Herd in the G League. Robinson spent most of the 2023-24 season with the Illawarra Hawks in Australia and then made his European debut late in that same campaign with Rio Breogan Lugo in Spain.
After a breakthrough season in Italy, Robinson is set to make his EuroLeague debut with Paris.
