Real Madrid forward Gabriel Deck will be sidelined after he was diagnosed with a rupture of the hamstring tendon on his left leg. The veteran forward suffered the injury during his team's narrow victory over FC Barcelona in the Spanish League on Monday. No timetable has been set for his recovery.
Deck, 29, is in his seventh season with Real Madrid, which he helped to the EuroLeague crown in 2023. This season he has averaged 9.6 points and 3.4 rebounds on 18 games. Deck has won four Spanish championships, four Spanish SuperCups and two Spanish King’s Cups with Los Blancos. He has also played for Asociacion Quimsa Santiago del Estero and San Lorenzo de Almagro in his native Argentina and the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA.
