Real Madrid snags All-EuroCup guard Andres Feliz
Real Madrid reloaded its backcourt by signing Andres Feliz, who was one of the brightest stars in the BKT EuroCup last season, on a three-year deal, the club announced Wednesday. Feliz (1.85 meters, 26 years old) shined bright in his third season in the competition for Joventut Badalona. He ranked sixth in the EuroCup in assists (5.1 apg) and third in steals (2.1 spg). Feliz also led Joventut in scoring (14.7 ppg) and was second in rebounds (4.7 rpg).
Feliz was at his best in the eighthfinals when he led Joventut to a 79-88 road win at ratiopharm Ulm with 28 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. His 12 baskets made in that game helped Feliz earn the Eighthfinals MVP honor. He was later selected for the All-EuroCup Second Team. Feliz
A native of the Dominican Republic, Feliz played college basketball at Northwest Florida State College and at University of Illinois. He began his professional career in Spain where he first played for Joventut’s affiliated team, CB Prat. Before joining Joventut for good in 2021. He is now set to make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut with Real Madrid.
