Real Madrid forward Anthony Randolph is expected to be out for the foreseeable future due to a severe knee injury. Randolph got injured in Game 1 of the Spanish League finals against FC Barcelona and had to be carried out of the court. In an official statement, Real confirmed that Randolph fractured the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his left knee and is set to undergo surgery soon.
He had returned to action in December 2021 after being sidelined for almost a year due to fractured Achilles tendon in his left foot. Randolph, a EuroLeague champion with Real in 2018 and a 2015-16 All-EuroLeague Second Team with Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar, averages 10.7 points and 4.4 rebounds in 160 EuroLeague career games with both clubs.
