Fall became a creator for Olympiacos
Olympiacos Piraeus became the first team to punch a playoff ticket with its dramatic 72-74 win over Zalgiris Kaunas in at sold-out Zalgirio Arena, home of this season's Final Four. In the absence of starting point guard Kostas Sloukas, the Reds playmaking came from an unlikely source – center Moustapha Fall. The big man, who previously never had more than 5 assists in a single game, dished out 7 on Thursday in Kaunas, tied for a team high. Fall also had 6 points, 4 rebounds and a block, but it was him putting his teammates in position to score that was one of the key contributions to the playoff-clinching Olympiacos victory.
