Lee shines late for the Greens

Panathinaikos Athens has now won four straight games after coming back from a 15-point third-quarter deficit to down EA7 Emporio Armani Milan in overtime. Paris Lee had 3 points to his tally with less than 3 minutes left in the third quarter, having missed 6 of his 7 field-goal attempts, including 0-for-4 from long range. But Lee dominated from that point on, finishing with a career-high 22 points, including 9 in the extra period. He also had 5 assists and 4 steals, another career-best, as the Greens battled their way to victory.

Zvezda captain had bigger role in Belgrade derby

In the first-ever Belgrade derby in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade team captain and club legend Branko Lazic started and played 25 minutes, his season-high and the second most on the team in Round 12. Lazic attempted just 2 shots the entire night, finishing with 3 points, but he also had 2 assists, 1 rebound and tied his career-high with 4 steals. More importantly, Zvezda rallied against Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade to pull out its fifth straight win, with this one coming against its biggest rival.

Fenerbahce's historic team effort

In Round 12, Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul did something that no other team has done in the EuroLeague this century. During its 75-104 win over ALBA Berlin in the German capital, Fenerbahce became the first team in the EuroLeague to have eight players score at least 10 points. Carsen Edwards and Marko Guduric led the way with 13 points, followed by Johnathan Motley with 11. Head coach Dimitris Itoudis also saw five of his players score 10 points apiece: Tonye Jekiri Nick Calathes, Metecan Birsen, Nigel Hayes-Davis and Devin Booker.

Fall dominates on the glass

Youssoupha Fall had a massive performance in a memorable win for LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne at FC Barcelona. The 2.21-meter center set the tone in the first quarter, pulling down 10 rebounds – 5 on offense and 5 on defense. He had just 1 more rebound in the second quarter, but then 7 more in the second half as ASVEL rallied from a 12-point third-quarter deficit to come away with a 74-75 victory. Fall finished with a career-high 18 rebounds, tied for EuroLeague season-high. He also scored 14 points in ASVEL's win.

Loyd showed up before injury

AS Monaco guard Jordan Loyd left his team's game at Real Madrid on a stretcher with 6.8 seconds left in regulation after an unfortunate blow to his head. The visitors managed to miraculously force overtime and then win in the extra period without him, but he was the one who carried Monaco at vital points in the game. Loyd had 19 points on 6-for-7 two-point shooting and 2-for-6 from beyond the arc. He also had 4 assists, 4 rebounds and 3 of Monaco's 4 steals in the game. Loyd tweeted he is doing OK, and Monaco is now in sole possession of the second best 9-3 record in the standings.

Los Blancos' pair of Sergios reach milestones

In that same game, Real's veteran backcourt duo of Sergio Llull and Sergio Rodriguez reached big career milestones. Chacho was the first to do so, as his third assist of the game late in the second quarter moved him past Vassilis Spanoulis and into second place all-time with 1,608 assists. Then, Sergio Llull got to 12 points with 5 minutes left in regulation, tying Georgios Printezis for fourth place in the all-time scoring charts with 3,599. Real failed to hold off Monaco in the end, but it was still a historic night for Rodriguez and Llull.
