Not only did EA7 Emporio Armani Milan snap its own losing streak and end another team's winning run, but center Brandon Davies walked away with the MVP honor for Round 14, too. Davies put together 15 points, a career-high 7 assists, 6 rebounds and 2 steals while drawing 10 fouls for a performance index rating of 30, the best among players on winning teams in Round 14, as Milan topped host Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade 67-71 on Thursday. Round 14's top performance came in a losing cause. Ante Zizic of Anadolu Efes Istanbul recorded a career-high PIR of 33 with 20 points and 9 rebounds, but his team lost 82-79 at Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade. His teammate Rodrigue Beaubois came next with a PIR of 30, matching Davies, after scoring a career-high 30 points, including 5 three-pointers, but fell to the same fate.
Two more players who lost their battles, too, came next, with PIRs of 28 each. Bojan Dubljevic's 28 points weren't enough to prevent Valencia Basket from falling 97-92 at FC Bayern Munich. And Filip Petrusev of Zvezda posted a career-high 20 points, along with his personal best PIR, in his team's defeat at the hands of Milan.
