Round 14 MVP: Nigel Hayes-Davis, Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul

This is his fourth MVP honor in the past two years.

A stellar performance in a big win at WiZink Center has seen Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul forward Nigel Hayes-Davis earn MVP honors in Round 14 of the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season.

Hayes-Davis netted 33 points, the second most of any player this season and the second-highest total of his career, in his team’s 70-82 win at Real Madrid after going 6 for 9 on two-pointers, 6 for 10 from three-point land, and 3 for 4 from the free-throw line. Those 6 three-pointers made are a season high for Hayes-Davis and the second-best mark in his career. In his 37:33 minutes on the floor, another season high, he also grabbed 4 rebounds, had 2 steals and drew 2 fouls, which gave him a season-best 30 PIR. This is Hayes-Davis’s fourth MVP of the Round honor, having been the Round 23 MVP in 2022-23, the Round 32 MVP in 2023-24, and the Game 1 MVP in the 2024 EuroLeague Playoffs.

This round's highest PIR, 38, belongs to Will Clyburn of Virtus Segafredo Bologna, but it came in a losing effort against Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade. Clyburn had 19 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 6 drawn fouls in an 87-94 defeat. Evan Fournier had a 34 PIR for Olympiacos Piraeus in a 90-96 loss against Paris Basketball. Fournier scored 25 points and also posted 4 assists, 4 steals, 2 rebounds and he drew 10 fouls. Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz forward Chima Moneke recorded a season-high 31 PIR, but it also came in a defeat as his side lost 94-80 at FC Bayern Munich. Moneke scored 25 points, his highest tally this season, in addition to having 11 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 block and 4 fouls drawn. Rounding out the list of Round 14's top performers is Crvena Zvezda’s Isaiah Canaan, who had 26 points, 3 assists and 2 rebounds for a PIR of 29 in a win over Virtus.

Nigel Hayes-Davis of Fenerbahce scored a round-high 33 points. Bayern’s Carsen Edwards is the leading scorer this season with 20.4 points per game.

Virtus's Will Clyburn pulled down 12 rebounds in Round 14, the most of any player. Real Madrid center Walter Tavares leads the way in rebounds this season with 8.3 boards per night.

Tamir Blatt of Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv dished 10 assists in this round, more than anyone else. Blatt also tops the charts in rebounds with 8.6 dimes per contest.

Fabien Causeur of EA7 Emporio Armani Milan made 6 steals, which is a season-best mark. AS Monaco’s Alpha Diallo is the season leader in steals with 1.6 per game.

Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens center Mathias Lessort and AS Monaco's Georgios Papagiannis each had 3 blocks, the most in this round. Tavares is the leading shot blocker in the league with 1.5 per night.

Blatt (14 points, 10 assists), Moneke (25 points, 11 rebounds), Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade’s Tyrique Jones (12 points, 10 rebounds) and Clyburn (19 points, 12 rebounds) were the four players to post a double-double in Round 14.
