At the other end, Zalgiris welcomed back big man Joffrey Lauvergne from a shoulder injury that sidelined him since Round 2. However, the bigger story was 20-year old center Marek Blazevic shining with the best game of his young EuroLeague career. Blazevic was already coming off back-to-back career-best performances, first with his first career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds against Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul and then last week a career-high 13 points against AX Armani Exchange Milan. He topped that with 20 points on 7-for-11 two-point shooting plus dishing a career-best 4 assists to help keep Zalgiris in this one for three and a half quarters.
