Tarik Biberovic stays with EuroLeague champs Fenerbahce

Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul has retained the services of star forward Tarik Biberovic, who has signed a contract extension until the end of the 2027-28 season.
Biberovic (2.01 meters, 24 years old) was an instrumental part of Fenerbahce's run to the 2024-25 EuroLeague title, averaging 17.3 points in his team's sweep of Paris Basketball in the playoffs before netting 15 points in the semifinal against Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens and 3 points in the championship game triumph over AS Monaco.
Despite being just 24, Biberovic already has seven seasons of EuroLeague experience under his belt, all of which has come with Fenerbahce. In the last two years the Turkiye international has become a bigger part of the rotation, but under coach Saras Jasikevicius he has really come into his own.
After averaging 7.0 points and 2.2 rebounds in 31 games as Fenerbahce reached the 2024 Final Four, Biberovic boosted his season averages to 10.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 37 appearances in 2024-25. Now as one of the team's go-to leaders, Biberovic's new contract reflects his importance to Fenerbahce's project.
