The exciting 3x3 basketball event moves to Greece on March 15th

After the incredible success in Bologna, where the event garnered over 12 million social media impressions and a record-breaking TikTok LIVE engagement surpassing half a million, Hoop District, the thrilling 3x3 content creators’ tournament presented by Turkish Airlines, is back and ready to take over Athens now!

This time, the event will take place on March 15th at Pireos 260, Athens, from 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM, as an open-door event with free entry under registration. Same as in Bologna, this second qualifier of the competition will feature four dynamic teams, each aiming for one of the final two spots in the upcoming showdown in Barcelona, where they’ll go head-to-head with the reigning champions, Team Barcelona led by its captain Tresco.

Athens, Istanbul, Berlin, and Paris, will be the cities represented with a team, each bringing their own unique flair to the court. Content creators from each city will be leading them, with Greece’s own George taking charge, Alper representing Team Istanbul, Zac supporting Team Munich, and Antoine leading Team Paris. These creators will not only compete but also engage with their fanbases, creating exciting content throughout the event.

Hoop District is taking things up a notch with exciting new partnerships, bringing fans a jam-packed experience full of music, basketball challenges, and more. Turkish Airlines is stepping in as the event’s naming sponsor, while the VIP Lounge will host exclusive guests, creating a buzz throughout the day.

Motorola will also present an exhilarating on-court challenge, and adidas will team up with Slam Dunk to showcase their latest gear. Fans will have the chance to show off their skills in a high-energy three-point shooting contest! And to keep the vibe electric, a live performance by a local artist will keep the energy soaring, pumping up both fans and players as the action intensifies.

In addition, the EuroLeague 25th Anniversary stand, presented by BKT, will offer fans a chance to relive iconic moments in basketball history, snap a photo with the EuroLeague trophy, get up close to some of the greatest pieces of basketball memorabilia, and enjoy a one-of-a-kind basketball experience.

Interactive fun continues with Panini’s activations on-site, providing fans with even more ways to get involved.
