UNICS Kazan brought back a familiar face to the club, signing forward John Holland for the rest of the season pending medical exams, the club announced Saturday.

Holland (1.96 meters, 33 years old) has played with Fajardo in Puerto Rico so far this season, posting 12.8 points on 40.8% three-point shooting, alons with 3.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.1 steals. Holland spent last season with UNICS, helping it reach the 7DAYS EuroCup Finals averaging 10.3 points on 43.4% three-point shooting, 2.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists, while also helping the team to the VTB League finals, posting 9.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.2 steals
Holland made his professional debut with Roanne in France. He also played with Cajasol Seville of Spain, Gravelines-Dunkerque of France, Besiktas Istanbul of Turkey, Hapoel Jerusalem of Israel, Santeros de Aquada of Puerto Rico, Austin and Canton in the D-League, as well as Cleveland of the NBA, playing in the 2018 NBA Finals. Holland has also been a member of the Puerto Rico national team. He is now set to make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut.
