Valencia Basket has promoted rising star Millan Jimenez to its senior roster, the club announced over the weekend. The forward (1.99 meters, 19 years old) joined the club in 2018 and last season split his playing time between the first and second teams, including 12 games off the bench in the 7DAYS EuroCup. He averaged 2.1 points and 1 rebound in 7:14 minutes in those games. More recently, Jimenez helped Spain win the gold medal at the Under-20 European Championship in July with 10.0 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.1 steals per game.

Jimenez already debuted in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, making a brief appearance in both the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons and he will now become an integral member of the senior roster as the Spanish club returns to Europe’s top competition.
