Valencia Basket's oft-injured point guard Martin Hermannsson underwent surgery on Wednesday to remove loose bodies from his left knee. The procedure was carried out by the club's chief medical officer, Dr. Muñozm at the IMSKE hospital. The operation was deemed to be a success and the estimated timetable for the player's return to action is three months.
Hermannsson, 28, missed the majority of last season recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in the same knee in May 2022. He appeared in four Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games and 14 Spanish League games last season, his third with Valencia.
