Zalgiris Kaunas announced the signing of forward Tyler Cavanaugh to a multi-year deal on Tuesday.

The contract is for two seasons with an option for a third year. Cavanaugh (2.06 meters, 27 years old) returns to the EuroLeague after debuting with ALBA Berlin in 2019-20. He played for Iberostar Tenerife in Spain last season where he averaged 7.8 points on 46.6% three-point shooting plus 4.5 rebounds in 41 games. Cavanaugh, who played college basketball at Wake Forest University and George Washington University, made his professional debut with Atlanta in the NBA in 2017. He also played for Utah in the NBA and both Erie and Salt Lake City in the G-League before coming to Europe in 2019.
