Euroleague Pick & Play allows fans everywhere to predict the winning teams of selected EuroLeague games throughout the 2022-23 season and compete to win points. They can also compete with their Facebook friends and even the global Facebook community.

Crvena Zvezda leads the digital revolution, enters the world of phygital

Earlier this season, Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade and its partners adidas and Authena, made it possible for their fans to become among the first in the sports world to own unique NFTs associated with the original jerseys of the club they love. Crvena Zvezda is the first basketball club in the world that will allow its fans to collect authentic, phygital jerseys of their favorite players. 

The jerseys that the players have been wearing this season, starting from the Round 2 game against Panathinaikos Athens, have a "digital twin" in the form of an NFT. These NFTs will be available as part of a unique Crvena Zvezda digital collection. 

Thirty-two jerseys - one for each member of the roster in home and away colors - were prepared with NFC tags. Those authentic jerseys will be auctioned after they are worn for the final time, in the Round 16 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague game at home against FC Barcelona. The auction process will be operated through the OpenSea platform and those interested will be able to purchase them with cryptocurrency.

The winners of the auction will be invited to the Round 18 EuroLeague game against Real Madrid on January 10, 2023, where they will have VIP seats and a special meet-and-greet where Zvezda players will hand over the authentic, signed jerseys. In addition to the possibility of reselling later, they will receive other benefits including access to exclusive video and photo materials from the club, an invitation to the club's New Year's cocktail party and more.

Euroleague Basketball CEO Marshall Glickman welcomed the Director and CEO of Ardu Prime, Mr. Sotiris Promponas, and Ardu Prime's Crypto Services General Manager, Mr. Aris Christidis, for meetings at Euroleague Basketball headquarters in Barcelona, Spain, on Monday.

Real, Marvel, adidas team up for Avengers collection

Real Madrid has joined forces with adidas and Marvel to launch a limited edition Marvel's Avengers line for Los Blancos' football and basketball teams. The new clothing collection references many Marvel Universe superheroes including Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, Thor and Black Panther. 

One of the first players to try it on was Fabien Causeur, who was part of the promotional photoshoot along with his teammates Sergio Llull, Walter Tavares, Anthony Randolph and Guerschon Yabusele, football stars Toni Kroos and Marcos Asensio, and women's football first-team players Ivana Andres and Teresa Abelleira. 

"It's pretty cool. I am very excited. I'm such a geek about all these licenses. I love Marvel, I have followed them and have the physical copies at home. So I would say I'm a pretty big fan," Causeur said. 

Real's basketball team will wear Marvel's Avengers-themed uniforms in two official games: in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague showdown against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan and in the Spanish League game against Carplus Fuenlabrada. They will also wear Marvel's Avengers clothing in training sessions. Both football squads, men's and women's, will wear a Captain America t-shirt in pre-game warmups and an Avengers hoodie before heading onto the pitch. 

"It's really nice that Real Madrid, adidas and Marvel are working together. Like I said, I'm pretty excited, like a kid. It is going to be a special game, I would say, there are going to be nice pictures for social media," Causeur said. "It's a collectible jersey. I'm going to keep it and probably put it on the wall when I retire because it's going to be a good memory. Hopefully, we will win that game so it gets better!"

This is adidas's first clothing collection with a shared theme for all sections of the club. Previously, adidas, Real and Star Wars launched a clothing line for the basketball team in May 2021.

FC Bayern Munich has shown great innovation and creativity by making a virtual assistant, "Ben", available for any inquiries that its fans might have. At any time in the day, Ben is available to aid supporters with almost anything that comes to mind during the day or night.
