U18 ALBA Berlin claimed its first win of the weekend by defeating U18 Dubai Basketball 72-90 in the seventh place game at the Adidas NextGen EuroLeague 2024-25 event in Ulm, Germany.
Lukas Klein led five ALBA scorers in double figures with 22 points and 17 rebounds, Nevio Bennefeld tallied 16 points and 3 steals and Matheo Hermann contributed 12 points. Eman Jasarevic paced Dubai with 15 points and Emmanouil Manolopoulos added 10.
ALBA finished the second quarter on a 0-7 run to take a 44-48 halftime lead, which it never relinquished. The ALBA defense then held Dubai to just 12 points in the third quarter as it increased its lead, which peaked at 58-78 after Hermann scored 6 points in a 2-10 run to open the fourth quarter.
