U18 FC Barcelona improved to a 2-0 record in Group B of the NextGen EuroLeague Qualifying Tournament in Ulm with an impressive 109-61 win over U18 Olympiacos Piraeus, which registered its second defeat in as many games.
Barcelona will later on Saturday face U18 NextGen Team Ulm where winner will win Group B and earn a place in Sunday’s first-place game.
Arturas Butajevas led Barcelona with 16 points and 7 rebunds. Abdrahamane Kone and Sayon Keita scored 14 apiece. Mathieu Grujicic scored 12, Emilis Prekevicius had 11 points, while Lluc Pluvinet and Ma Samba Gueye had 10 points apiece, with Gueye also pulling down 10 rebounds.
Georgios Bourneles had 19 points for Olympiacos, and Theodoros Pavlopoulos had 12 points in a loss.
