Endurance Aiyamenkhue led Ulm past Dubai
Ulm beats Dubai in tournament opener, 71-94

U18 ratiopharm Ulm left no doubt about its potential by overwhelming U18 Dubai Basketball 71-94 in the opening game in Group A. Endurance Aiyamenkhue led the winners with 22 points on 10 of 10 two-pointers. Niko Jerkic added 21 points, Jervis Scheffs had 15 and Teo Milicic 10 for Ulm. Emmanouil Manolopoulos led Dubai with 16 points before getting injured in the game's final minute. Eman Jasarevic added 14 and Diop Amath 10.
Jasarevic allowed Dubai to get within 11-12 midway through the first quarter. Malicic and an outstanding Jerkic helped Ulm get a 1827 lead after 10 minutes. Scheffs had 5 points in a 0-11 run that broke the game open, 23-42. Ulm boosted its lead to 31-53 at halftime and then again to 49-75 at the end of the third quarter, more than enough to control the game until the final buzzer.
