After leading U18 Real Madrid to its third title at the Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation Tournament Finals on Sunday, Eli Ndiaye was awarded the MVP trophy for his outstanding performance.

Ndiaye played a huge role in Real prevailing in a thrilling 81-78 overtime victory over Spanish nemesis U18 FC Barcelona in the 2021 ANGT Championship Game. The Senegal native, who was named the MVP of the ANGT Istanbul qualifying event, collected 17 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals for an index rating of 23 in 44:47 minutes. Joining Ndiaye on the all-tournament team were Michael Caicedo and James Nnaji of U18 FC Barcelona, Nikola Djurisic of U18 Mega SoccerBet Belgrade and Kymany Houinsou of U18 LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne.
For the ANGT Finals, Ndiaye averaged 19.0 points, 13.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 3.5 steals and 1.0 block for an average PIR of 30.5. He led the tournament in index rating, rebounds and steals, ranked second in points and fouls drawn (6.8 per game), third in offensive rebounds (4.8) and fifth in blocks. Caicedo gave all he could for Barcelona but his 25 points, 11 rebound and 4 steals in the full 45:00 minutes were not enough against Real. For the weekend, Caicedo collected 19.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.5 steals for an average PIR of 20.5. He was first in points, fifth in index rating, sixth in steals and seventh in rebounds. Nnaji had 9 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks in the ANGT Championship Game. The Nigerian finished with 14.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 4.3 blocks and an average index rating of 26.0. Nnaji led the tournament blocks, was second in PIR, offensive rebounds (5.0) and two-point shooting (76.7%).
Djurisic helped Mega give Barcelona a real fight in Group B, but could not get the club to its third ANGT Championship Game. He averaged 13.7 points, 8.7 rebounds and 6.0 assists for an index rating of 20.0. Djurisic ranked second in the tournament in assists and sixth in both rebounds and PIR. Houinsou was the leader of a young and exciting ASVEL team which nearly beat Real in the group stage. The guard collected 11.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.3 blocks for an index rating of 11.3. He ranked fourth in blocks, ninth in assists and 10th in rebounds.
