U18 NextGen Team Belgrade used an impressive defensive effort to top U18 Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade 75-42 in the opener of Group B and the NextGen EuroLeague Qualifying Tournament in Belgrade. NextGen Team had Akram Naji score 14 points, while Kaur Tomann and Aaron Towo-Nansi each added 11, with Towo-Nansi also dishing 9 assists. Uros Danilovic was the only double-digit scorer for Partizan with 12 points.
NextGen Team started pulling away in the second quarter with a quarter-ending 13-1 run to open a 36-18 lead, then a 10-0 run early in the third to open a 46-21 advantage. The margin was as big as 35 points before the final buzzer.
