NextGen Ulm downs ALBA to improve to 2-0

U18 NextGen Team Ulm picked up its second win of the NextGen EuroLeague Qualifying Tournament by beating U18 ALBA Berlin 85-64 in the first game of Saturday’s schedule. Win improved NGU to 2-0 in Group B, while ALBA dropped to a 0-2 record.
Davi Remagen paced the winners with 18 points, Urbonas Ignas scored 12 points, Giannis Odzebe had 11 points, while Maodo Mane collected 10 points and 10 assists. For ALBA, Richard Schmitt scored 12, Siim Suren had 11 and Matheo Hermann 10 points.
NGU led from start to finish and used an 11-0 second-quarter run to pull away to an 38-23 lead, but ALBA rallied back within 6, and was down 49-40 at halftime. After the break, NGU team coached by Dogus Balbay, restored a double-digit lead, which it slowly kept increasing, and cruised to a victory.
