U18 Tofas Bursa collected the first victory of its history in the Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation Tournament by rallying to defeat U18 Partizan NIS Belgrade 66-72 in Group A of the ANGT Belgrade. Tofas, which had lost all of its eight games over the last two seasons, came back from 10 points down late in the third quarter with a 3-20 run and held on to win and move to 1-0 in Group A. Baran Yurdusen scored 22 points with 8 rebounds to lead Tofas. Berke Buyuktuncel and Ege Demir both added 10 points in the victory. Partizan, which finished first in the ANGT Belgrade in 2020, dropped to 0-1 as Marko Krstic's 22 points were not enough. Efe Tahmaz also had 12 points in the loss.

Defense was the name of the game at the beginning, as the score was just 4-4 after 5 minutes. Yurdusen moved to 6 points as Tofas led 4-8 after more than 7 minutes. Marko Tojagic hit a triple for Partizan but Abdullah Aksoy had 4 points and Buyuktuncel converted a four-point play for a 7-18 lead after 10 minutes. Partizan held Tofas scoreless for the first 2 minutes of the second quarter while a pair of triples by Krstic made it 16-20. Krstic added 4 points and Partizan took the lead 27-26 on a Tahmaz tip-in. And the Serbian side led 33-31 at halftime.
Bodgan Zagradannin scored 7 points as Partizan extended the lead to 42-35. Tofas had cut the margin to 3 points but Partizan hit 7 straight points to open a double-digit lead 49-39, which was 49-41 after 30 minutes. A three-pointer by Krstic made it 52-42 but Tofas put together a 3-20 run to surge ahead 55-62. Partizan did not give up and pulled within 63-66 with 80 seconds left. Ege Demir answered with a big put-back dunk. Then, trailing 65-68 with 26 seconds remaining, Partizan turned the ball over on an inbounds play that soon left Tofas celebrating.
