Dolomiti Energia Trento clearly took advantage of the national team break to reenergize itself, coming out with two strong road wins – the second being a major shock as the Italian outfit routed Group B leader Cosea JL Bourg-en-Bresse. 

Jakimovski, Trento make statement with win at Bourg: 'We’re not gonna stop here'

Trento shrugged off a nightmare start to the game and showed its mental strength with a 73-91 victory to hand Bourg its first home loss of the season. 

The visiting team's fans must have been watching the first five minutes and Bourg’s 21-5 lead and had more nightmares from the disaster at home in Round 1, when Trento lost 48-79 loss against the French side. But this is a different team than the one on October 1, responding with a 2-23 run to take the lead, with the cushion growing to 14 points in the second quarter. 

Bourg scored 13 consecutive points in the third quarter and the lead was down to one point at 48-49. Trento had taken the hosts' punches, but it did not break and never handed over the lead. Massimo Cancellieri’s men even began to pull away in the fourth quarter, with a 21-point margin at one point.

“We were solid. The reaction from Bourg came. We were sure. We stayed poised and we were waiting for our time. I’m happy that the whole team participated in this,” said Cancellieri, whose team is now 5-5 in Group B with a 4-2 mark on the road.

Bourg handed over its lead in the standings with an 8-2 record – including 4-1 at the Ekinox. Besiktas GAIN Istanbul tops Group B as it beat Bourg in the first half of the regular season. 

"We are happy because Besiktas was the only team to beat them. So we are the second, and we are proud of this result. The season will finish when it finishes. Now we have to enjoy this and get some confidence for the next game,” said Cancellieri.

The coach talked about the difference of his team from that Round 1 game. 

“That was our first shock of the season. We had the pre-season and the Super Cup against Italian teams. And then we show up ready, steady, go in the EuroCup against the most athletic team that we could face. We weren’t terrible, we were like ghosts,” he said. 

“From there we started the process. It’s not finished but I think what we did today is a little bit closer to what we have to do for the EuroCup level. The players have to be proud of what they are doing, the commitment and the attitude that they have. But this is not history. We are in December.” 

Cancellieri credits the FIBA break for some of the team’s stronger play. 

“The national team break gave us a little bit more energy. We gave them some days off. And they refreshed a bit mentally. We took advantage of that. But now we have to work to keep doing this,” he said.

The biggest key to Trento scoring 91 points against the number one defense in the EuroCup was [Andrej Jakimovski](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/andrej-jakimovski/009429/). 

The 24-year-old is playing his first full professional season in Europe after a college career in the United States. The forward tied his career high with 30 points and added 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 10 fouls drawn for an index rating of 43. His PIR of 43 set a Trento record in the EuroCup, topping the previous best of 41 by Gary Browne in 2020-21. 

“I am happy about the team. I am proud of the team. We showed resilience, we showed amazing effort. We came back. We had an awful start. But I am happy about this win. We’re not gonna stop here. We’re going to keep going. We’re getting better. It’s an incredible win,” Jakimovski said.  

While Trento is celebrating a big upset, Bourg will now look for answers. 

"I am disappointed that we lost but Trento played very well so they deserved to win. We played five good minutes in the first half and five good minutes in the second half and that is not enough to win a game,” Bourg head coach Frederic Fauthoux said after the game, as his team made just 33.3% of its two-pointers.

Pastore’s team took an early lead but couldn’t grab the opportunity to widen the gap substantially. Panionios went ahead in the second quarter and was able to hold on to the advantage quite comfortably until the final few minutes, when Chemnitz put together a gutsy comeback run. With just over a minute remaining, [Corey Davis Jr.](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/corey-davis-jr-/013890/) drained a corner three to put the hosts ahead. NINERS managed the game professionally in the closing moments, securing the 73-68 victory.

“There was a lot of offensive power in this Greek team, which we saw in the first half especially, but to have that consciousness that we can get stops in key moments of the game is something we haven’t showed lately,” Pastore stated.

The Argentinian coach’s sense of pride was accompanied by a sense of relief for his team, which he believes has worked hard to earn this success. He also took the time to big up the home crowd.

“They deserve a game like today. Also, our fans were our sixth man tonight.”

[Amadou Sow](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/amadou-sow/012598/) played a starring role, adding 10 rebounds to his 19-point performance. His hulking physical play led to just his second-ever double-double in the EuroCup, while he finished with a PIR of 23.

“This was huge,” said Sow. “It speaks for the work ethic and what we did over the last couple of days to get ready. Our coaching staff did an amazing job and we managed to execute.”

Sow was quick to deflect any talk of his individual performance with praise for the wider Chemnitz unit.

“I give all credit to our coaching staff and my teammates. They keep believing in me, giving me the ball in the right spot, at the right time, and I’m making plays.”

The Malian big man wasn’t alone in inspiring the hosts to victory. Davis made impressive, crucial shots to serve as a catalyst for the comeback, finishing on 10 points for the night. Elsewhere, [Kevin Yebo](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/kevin-yebo/013368/) and [Nike Sibande](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/nike-sibande/013889/) also finished in double figures. While visiting coach Ilias Zouros was gracious in defeat, he had no doubt that his team was more deserving of the win.

“Congratulations to Chemnitz, congratulations to my players, because they played very good for 35 minutes,” said Zouros. “Unfortunately for the last 5 minutes, we lost concentration and we didn’t get the win that we deserved, because we deserved it – we played much better basketball today.”

The disappointing loss moves Zouros’s team to 1-9 in bottom place and makes it nine consecutive defeats to affirm its spot at the bottom of their group. Panionios will have a chance to bounce back when it hosts ratiopharm ulm next week. Chemnitz, which moved to 4-6 with this win, will face Lietkabelis Panevezys in a week’s time.

[Besiktas GAIN Istanbul](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/teams/besiktas-gain-istanbul/bes/) was made to sweat, but in the end it took care of business once again, closing out a 94-85 overtime win against [Lietkabelis Panevezys](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/teams/lietkabelis-panevezys/lkb/) to improve to 8-2 in Group B and stay perfect at home.

“Every game is important. There are no easy games in EuroCup,” Besiktas coach Dusan Alimpijevic said before tipoff. Forty-five minutes later, it felt exactly like one of those nights.

Riding the wave of a four-game winning streak, Besiktas came into Round 10 in top form and that showed, particularly in the first half. The third quarter told a different story, however, with Lietkabelis mounting a confident run to take the lead. Late on, Besiktas leaned on its late-game character to force the extra session before flexing its muscles in overtime.

[Ante Zizic](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/ante-zizic/004554/) was at the heart of the black-and-whites’ first-half surge. The Round 9 MVP made his presence felt inside, finishing the game with 16 points and 7 rebounds. “Each guy who stepped on the court showed his character, and we are ready for the next one,” he said after the game.

Besiktas struggled with foul trouble throughout the game and lost some defensive balance in the third quarter, allowing Lietkabelis to find easy shots and take the lead, outscoring the home side 17-27.

In the fourth, Besiktas regained its defensive edge, and a roller-coaster final quarter set the stage for a tense finish. With 30 seconds left, Lietkabelis held a five-point lead, but a crucial three from [Vitto Brown](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/vitto-brown/013365/) and a steal followed by free throws by [Yigit Arslan](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/yigit-arslan/007914/) sent the game to overtime, where Besiktas regained control.

‘‘We showed Besiktas character, we showed that we are fighting until the last second, and we showed that we never give up,’’ said Coach Alimpijevic after the game. ‘‘Sometimes, for the character of the team and to build something, sometimes it’s better to win this kind of game than maybe \[by\] plus 10 or plus 15.’’

[Jonah Mathews](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/jonah-mathews/011936/) and Brown took charge for Besiktas in the second half. Mathews knocked down three vital threes on his way to 14 points, while Brown added 13, also hitting three important triples. The home team leaned on its deep roster, with every player who stepped on the floor finding their spot on the scoreboard.

For Lietkabelis, chasing just its third win of the season, [Michael Flowers](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/michael-flowers/014159/) led the charge with a career-high 35 PIR and 27 points. [Kristian Kullamae](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/kristian-kullamae/007729/) added 18 points, knocking down key threes, but despite its best efforts, the Lithuanian side couldn’t find a way back.

In Round 11, Besiktas will look to carry this momentum to London as it faces the Lions, while Lietkabelis will search for its third win at home against NINERS Chemnitz.

About the program: 

Partizan NIS Belgrade is partnering with the care center Jovan Jovanovic ZMAJ for the fourth consecutive time, aiming to raise awareness of the problems associated with online hate speech. Around 20 participants of both genders participate in the sessions taking place over eight weeks. This year’s program includes many new features, including the participation of several YouTubers and social influencers who are role models for many young people. The sessions are held at the Partizan basketball hall and the care center, mostly lasting two hours. The children are educated though interactive workshops about the importance of preventing verbal violence on the internet and its consequences, encouraging good manners and socially responsible behavior both online and in real life. The program is conducted though lectures, games, and by learning from examples.

After three tightly contested quarters, Bahcesehir took complete control in the fourth, opening the period with a decisive 17-0 run. Their defense set the tone late, holding Cluj scoreless for several minutes and using that momentum to pull away. Tyler Cavanaugh and Malachi Flynn stepped up in the final frame, helping Bahcesehir secure a double-digit victory.

Trevion Williams led Bahcesehir with 22 points and 15 rebounds, while Flynn added 18 points, 4 assists and 4 rebounds. Cavanaugh finished with 13 points. Neptunas emerged victorious, 103-87, in a hard-fought overtime battle against Slask at Svyturio Arena on Wednesday evening. The hosts had a challenging start, with a sluggish first quarter that saw them trailing 11-28 after just eight minutes of play. However, Neptunas managed to erase much of the deficit, closing the gap to 40-46 by halftime. The momentum continued to shift in the second half, as Neptunas reclaimed the lead at 49-48 midway through the third period. The contest remained tightly contested, featuring several ties and lead changes. With just 26 seconds left in regulation, Kadre Gray made a crucial three-point play to force the game to overtime. During the extra period, Neptunas strung together three consecutive three-pointers, quickly establishing a 92-85 advantage, while Slask was unable to recover from that deficit. With this win, Neptunas improved to 5-5, while Slask dropped to 4-6 and remains without a road victory this season.

Arnas Velicka led Neptunas in scoring with 22 points. Rihards Lomasz followed with 18, Aurimas Majauskas had 16, Arnas Berucka and Zane Waterman posted 11 apiece, and Vitalijus Kozys finished with 10 for the winning side. Turk Telekom swept its two games in Germany within a week by easing past Ulm 53-87 to continue its rise up the Group B standings. After winning at NINERS Chemnitz in Round 9, Turk Telekom held Ulm scoreless for the first 8:17 minutes for a 0-8 lead, and the score was 4-10 after 10 minutes. The 14 combined points in the first quarter tied the EuroCup record for the fewest combined points in a quarter, evening the mark from the third quarter between ALBA Berlin vs. BCM Gravelines Dunkerque (8-6) from November 5, 2013. Turk Telekom pushed the lead to 13 points in the second quarter and the cushion was 21 points after three quarters to decide the game.

Turk Telekom improved to 7-3 in the group with a 5-1 road record and seven wins in the last eight games. Kris Bankston led the way with 15 points and a career-best 13 rebounds, Berkan Durmaz had 12 points among five players in double figures. Ulm for its part has dropped four in a row and six of its last seven for a 4-6 record. Mark Smith paced Ulm with 17 points.

Buducnost earned a lead after just two minutes and managed to hold it until the final seconds of the opening quarter, when London edged ahead. The game was won after halftime, however, when Andrej Zakelj’s team picked up their defensive effort, taming the Lions on defense and capitalizing on the other end. Buducnost controlled the pace down the stretch and when the buzzer sounded, the Montenegrin team had secured the 94-63 victory.

Nikola Tanaskovic led Buducnost in scoring, doing all of his damage in the paint. Rasheed Sulaimon enjoyed a well-rounded display, adding 6 assists to his 16-point scoring display. Axel Bouteille and Juwan Morgan also boosted their team with double-digit scoring. Tarik Phillip record 16 rebounds, 4 boards and 5 dimes in defeat. The result moves Buducnost to 7-3 for the season, while London slide to an even 5-5 for its EuroCup campaign.

Aris swept Reyer by beating the Italian side 90-86 at Palais des Sports on Wednesday evening. The visitors started strong and took a 13-17 lead, with Ky Bowman taking his tally to 11 early points. But Aris responded with a 20-2 run to secure a 33-22 advantage after 10 minutes – the highest-scoring first quarter in the club’s BKT EuroCup history. The hosts went on to bag 56 points before the break, this being the best halftime score in the club's history. Reyer held Aris to just 14 points in the third quarter, but the hosts maintained a narrow lead until the final buzzer. The Greek side improved its record to 5-5, with Reyer dropping to 4-6.

Bryce Jones stood out with 20 points and a career-high 12 assists. Danilo Andjusic and Amine Noua netted 12 points each, with Arnoldas Kulboka adding 11. Ky Bowman paced Reyer with a career-high 21 points, and RJ Cole recorded 20 in a losing effort.

Retin Obasohan led the winners with 16 points. Marcis Steinbergs added 13, Gustav Knudsen had 11 while Louis Olinde got 10 for Manresa. David Skara led Cedevita with 16 points. Umoja Gibson added 15, Aleksej Nikolic had 11 while DJ Stewart got 10 for the guests. Manresa led 23-15 at the end of the first quarter and extended its lead to 56-38 early in the second half to take full control of the game until the final buzzer.

Besiktas claimed a hard-fought overtime 94-85 win over Lietkabelis at BJK GAIN Sports Complex to improve to 8-2 in Group B, while Lietkabelis dropped to 2-8. Besiktas controlled the momentum in the first half, while Lietkabelis responded in the third quarter with a strong comeback led by Michael Flowers and Kristian Kullamae. The fourth quarter turned into a back-and-forth battle, and with 30 seconds left, Besiktas trailed by five. Vitto Brown knocked down a crucial three-pointer, and Yigit Arslan’s late free throws forced overtime, where Besiktas regained control and closed out the game.

Ante Zizic led Besiktas with 16 points and 7 rebounds, while Jonah Matthews added 14 points and 4 assists. Brown contributed 13 points and 6 rebounds, Berk Ugurlu finished with 12 points and 4 assists, and Devon Dotson posted 10 points and 6 assists. Lietkabelis was led by Flowers, who had 27 points, 7 rebounds and a career-high 35 PIR. Kullamae scored 18 points, and Paulius Danusevicius added 10 points and 5 rebounds.

Jerusalem pulled away to lead by as many as 19 in the fourth quarter before a later Hamburg push.

Jerusalem’s guards led the way as the team improved to 8-2 to remain atop Group A. ### [NINERS Chemnitz 73-68 Panionios Cosmorama Travel Athens](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/game-center/2025-26/niners-chemnitz-panionios-cosmorama-travel-athens/U2025/99/)

Chemnitz fought back to defeat Panionios at Messe Chemnitz on Tuesday night, 73-68. Chemnitz found an early lead, but couldn’t seize the opportunity to widen the gap dramatically. Some major plays by Jaylen Hands toward the end of the half meant that Panionios headed to the locker rooms with a three-point advantage. The visitors were able to hold on to the lead quite comfortably until the final few minutes, when Chemnitz put together a comeback run. With just over a minute remaining, Corey Davis Jr. drained a corner three to put the hosts ahead yet again. Chemnitz saw the game out at the line and finished the job.

Amadou Sow played the starring role, adding 10 rebounds to his 19-point performance. Elsewhere Kevin Yebo, Nike Sibande and Corey Davis Jr. finished on double-digit scoring to inspire the fightback victory. Jaylen Hands’s 19 points weren’t enough to get the job done for Panionios. The disappointing loss moves Ilias Zouros’s team to 1-9 in bottom place and makes it nine consecutive defeats, while Chemnitz improves to 4-6.

Trento pulled off a major upset in its fight for the playoffs by rallying from a nightmare start to beat Group B leader Bourg 73-91 on the road. Trento fell behind 21-5 in the first 5 minutes and answered with a 2-23 run to take the lead, which grew to 14 points in the first half. Bourg scored 13 straight points early in the second half to pull within one point, but Trento never let the hosts take the lead, weathering the storm and even pushing the cushion to 21 points.

Trento, which lost 48-79 to Bourg at home back in Round 1, has won back-to-back games on the road for a 5-5 record, including a 4-2 mark away from home. Andrej Jakimovski tied his career high with 30 points to go with 7 rebounds and 10 fouls drawn for a club-record index rating of 43. Peyton Aldridge scored 15 points and DeVante Jones added 14 points and 6 assists. Bourg suffered its first home loss of the season for an 8-2 record, despite Both Gach scoring 20 points and Adam Mokoka chipping in 12 points.

Success in the [EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge](https://euroleaguefantasy.euroleaguebasketball.net/) often comes down to finding players who get hot at the right time. In a marathon season, it is understandable that no player can maintain high level every single round.

Even your surefire starters and top team-captain choices, the likes of [Sasha Vezenkov,](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/sasha-vezenkov/003469/) [Nikola Milutinov](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/nikola-milutinov/003941/), [Nadir Hifi](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/nadir-hifi/012640/), [Filip Petrusev](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/filip-petrusev/011194/), [Sylvain Francisco](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/sylvain-francisco/007975/), [Kendrick Nunn](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/kendrick-nunn/012774/) and [Mike James](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/mike-james/005985/), have their off weeks. On the opposite end, there are players who might have not shined or have even underperformed, in fantasy terms, so far this season, but are playing well at the moment.

And unlike the aforementioned stars, these guys below will not (completely) break your bank and I believe it is worth taking your shot with any of them. Who knows, maybe among them you find some of the keepers for the reminder of the season

### Matthew Strazel, AS Monaco (8.4 credits)

Over the past few weeks, Monaco has been drubbing its opponents, and [Matthew Strazel](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/matthew-strazel/008099/) has shined the last two games with 23.1 fantasy points in Round 13, and 28.6 in Round 14. What is great about Strazel, he seems to be guaranteed playing time no matter the score or the opponent, as he has spent between 19 and 25 minutes on the floor in all but one game this season. For 8.4 credits, he will be in my lineup in a rematch of the 2025 championship game against Fenerbahce.

### Mouhamet Diouf, Virtus Bologna (8.4 credits)

How consistent has [Mouhamet Diouf](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/mouhamet-diouf/013374/) been? In each of the last six games, the Virtus center has had FTPs between 13.0 and 18.7, and in three home games over that span he is averaging of 17.9 fantasy points. Not too shabby for a guy who was worth just 6.4 credits before Round 9. He is a bit more expensive than that at this moment, but playing 25.6 minutes per game over this six-game span, while delivering on the floor, Diouf would be a smart get at center.

### Leandro Bolmaro, EA7 Emporio Armani Milan (10.6 credits)

The Argentine point guard has become a quality and reliable fantasy performer over the past six rounds, during which he is averaging 17.7 fantasy points. His value went from 9.0 to 10.6 over that time, and if [Leandro Bolmaro](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/leandro-bolmaro/008985/) continues to perform like that, his price will keep rising. Playing more than 27 minutes per game since the start of November, I would not be surprised if Milan’s starting point guard becomes one of the trendiest picks.

### McKinley Wright, Dubai Basketball (11.6 credits)

In four of the last five Dubai home games, [McKinley Wright](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/mckinley-wright-iv/012606/) has amassed at least 13.2 fantasy points, and over the last three home games he averages 23.46. Wright also ranks fifth in the league playing 29:47 minutes per game. Visiting FC Bayern Munich has allowed 90 points in each of its last three games, so the Dubai playmaker could be a good pick-up.

### Mario Hezonja, Real Madrid (11.9 credits)

The 2023-24 All-EuroLeague forward started the season priced at 13.9 credits, and he is now at 11.9. But the last two games [Mario Hezonja](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/mario-hezonja/003108/) was back to his old self, leading *Los Blancos* to road wins with 26.4 and 22.0 fantasy points, respectively. Next up on Real’s schedule is Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz, winless on the road, and an opportunity for Hezonja to continue his streak.

Fantasy tips, Round 10: Four overlooked options 

As we enter the second half of the BKT EuroCup Regular Season, one might think we know plenty about the best players for the EuroCup Fantasy Challenge. I say, "think again". There are new players arriving every week who are making impact. There are others who have been overlooked and are still underpriced. While I won’t say which of the players below are on my final roster, let’s say that all were given serious consideration and I think they should be considered for your teams.

### John Newman, Chemnitz (9.2 credits)

A EuroCup newcomer, one could be forgiven for not seeing something special in [John Newman](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/john-newman-iii/013891/)’s rather average averages (10.2 ppr., 11.8 PIR). But dig a little deeper and you see a monster Round 1 game (22 points, 24 PIR) before an injury, 10 minutes played in his return game, another strong outing (18 PIR) and a subpar effort as his team was blown out. He's had PIRs of 16 and 21 in his last two German League games, too, and now faces Panionios at home.

Yovel Zoosman

### Yovel Zoosman, Jerusalem (9.2 credits)

Jerusalem's number 50 has found his groove recently. [Yovel Zoosman](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/yovel-zoosman/006625/) has posted a PIR of at least 17 in three of his last four games. This week, Zoosman leads Jerusalem into a clash with Hamburg, which should make for a high-scoring affair as the team plays in front of its fans for the first time all season. Seems like a nice time to grab Zoosman.

### Egidijus Mockevicius, Neptunas (7.7 credits)

Big man [Egidijus Mockevicius](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/egidijus-mockevicius/002333/) jumped right into the Neptunas lineup and made an impact with 8 points and 8 rebounds in 28 minutes to help his team upset Bahcesehir. He outplayed Trevion Williams (4 PIR), who is the second-most expensive center in the EuroCup Fantasy Challenge. Rebounding is Mockevicius's calling card, so he should always have a safe floor. Now is the time to pounce.

### Jamel Morris, Lietkabelis (6.6 credits)

There is something wild about [Jamel Morris](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/jamel-morris/011931/)'s stats this season and it does not seem sustainable. He has had four games with negative PIRs. He has shot poorly and is second in the league in turnovers with 3.8 per game. However, he has scored in double figures in two-thirds of his games and averaged a PIR of 14.5 in his last two. Moreover, he is Lietkabelis’s top scorer in the Lithuanian League (18.5 ppg.), where he has a PIR of 16.1. There’s a lot to like here for this price.

Jamel Morris

Frankie Sachs has some ideas to help your EuroCup Fantasy Challenge teams this week

The Reds will be eager for a return to action after the suspension of last week’s scheduled meeting with Fenerbahce, while Barca demonstrated its growing confidence under Coach Xavi Pascual by powering to victory at Zvezda. Will Clyburn was instrumental to that success with 22 points, and his duel with Sasha Vezenkov (17.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per night) is a must-watch matchup. The hosts boast the league’s third-best long-range shooting game, converting 38.9% from beyond the arc, and Dario Brizuela will look to stay hot after making 5-of-9 three-pointers in the last two games. At the other end, Evan Fournier is starting to find his best form with 10 triples in the last three games.
