A career-best night in a winning effort saw [Rihards Lomazs](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/rihards-lomazs/005553/) of [Neptunas Klaipeda](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/teams/neptunas-klaipeda/kla/) secure MVP honors for Round 13 of the 2025-26 BKT EuroCup season.

Lomazs posted a career-high 33 points, making 6-of-9 two-pointers, 3-of-6 three-pointers and 12-of-12 free throws, as Neptunas beat Veolia Towers Hamburg 94-98. The Latvian guard also amassed 1 rebound, 6 assists, 1 steal and 6 fouls drawn. His career-best 36 PIR is the best of any player in this round. Lomazs is the second Neptunas player to earn MVP of the Round honors this season, after James Karnik was the tri-MVP in Round 6.

Hamburg’s [Ross Williams](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/ross-williams/014194/) finished with a career-best 34 PIR in his team’s defeat to Neptunas. He amassed a career-high 32 points, shooting a perfect 8-for-8 inside the arc, 5-for-12 from deep and 1-for-1 from the free-throw line, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 5 fouls drawn.

[Austin Wiley](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/austin-wiley/013278/) of Hapoel Midtown Jerusalem had the third-best index rating in Round 13, which came in his team’s 72-115 victory at Slask Wroclaw. He recorded a career-high 31 PIR after posting 17 points on 6-of-8 two-pointers and 5-of-7 free throws, 12 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 block and 4 fouls drawn.

[Umoja Gibson](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/umoja-gibson/013855/) of Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana had a career-best 30 PIR as his side fell 59-67 to Bahcesehir College Istanbul. He had a career-high 25 points on 4-of-5 two-pointers, 1-of-5 triples and 14-of-14 free throws, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, 1 block and 9 fouls drawn.

Rounding out the list of top performers in Round 13 are [Bryce Jones](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/bryce-jones/012621/) of Aris Thessaloniki Betsson and [Joe Thomasson](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/joe-thomasson/012095/) of Panionios Cosmorama Travel Athens, both with a PIR of 29. Jones posted 27 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 7 fouls drawn as Aris lost 113-99 at BAXI Manresa, while Thomasson amassed 16 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, 1 block and 5 fouls drawn in Panionios’s 97-85 win against Buducnost VOLI Podgorica.

### Individual highs: Rihards Lomazs, Neptunas, 33 points

Rihards Lomazs of Neptunas scored 33 points in Round 13, more than any other player. U-BT Cluj-Napoca star Fatts Russell leads the EuroCup in scoring with 22.2 points per game.

Three players finished with a round-high 12 rebounds: Fardaws Aimaq of Lietkabelis Panevezys, and Jerusalem duo Anthony Lamb and Austin Wiley. Wiley is also the season leader in rebounds with 9.0 boards per contest.

Nikos Gkikas of Panionios dished a round-best 9 assists. Arnas Velicka of Neptunas tops the assists charts with 7.6 assists per night.

Two players – Shavar Reynolds of the London Lions and Jordan Usher of Turk Telekom Ankara – had 4 steals in this round, the best mark of any player. Dogus Ozdemiroglu of Turk Telekom is the EuroCup’s leader in steals with 2.5 per game.

Kaodirichi Akobundu-Ehiogu of Manresa and Chris Horton of Umana Reyer Venice both had a round-high 3 blocks. Austin Wiley narrowly leads the charts in blocks with an average of 1.64 per game, just ahead of Akobundu-Ehiogu (1.61 per game).

Austin Wiley (17 points, 12 rebounds), Anthony Lamb (10 points, 12 rebounds), Bahcesehir College Istanbul’s Tyler Cavanaugh (12 points, 10 rebounds) and Besiktas GAIN Istanbul’s Ante Zizic (10 points, 11 rebounds) were the four players to record a double-double in Round 13.

Neptunas Klaipeda secured a 94-98 win over Veolia Towers Hamburg on Wednesday night, improving to 6-7 in Group A and taking a vital step in the race for a top-six finish. Rihards Lomazs was the driving force for the Lithuanian side, posting a career-high 33 points and 6 assists for a game-best 36 PIR. 

Neptunas prevailed in Hamburg behind red-hot Rihards Lomazs

Neptunas Klaipeda secured a 94-98 win over Veolia Towers Hamburg on Wednesday night, improving to 6-7 in Group A and taking a vital step in the race for a top-six finish.

Coming off two straight losses, the Lithuanian side knew a win was essential to keep its playoff hopes alive and stayed composed in a back-and-forth game before delivering late in the final quarter.

Rihards Lomazs was the driving force for the Lithuanian side, posting a career-high 33 points and 6 assists for a game-best 36 PIR. Held to just 8 points at halftime, he caught fire after the break and carried the offense when it mattered most.

‘‘For sure, those stops we got in the end, it was crucial. And we kind of stuck together the whole game,’’ said the Latvian guard. ‘‘I try to do whatever the defense gives and sometimes it was a pull-up, sometimes it was a drive, sometimes a three-pointer, so basketball is a game of reads and yeah, probably I did the right reads today… If you want to compete in the playoffs, you have to win on the road.’’

Neptunas stayed level in a fast-paced game, with both teams trading baskets in a balanced first half. The visitors' ability to limit their turnovers proved decisive, and a crucial turnover from Hamburg with 18 seconds remaining allowed Neptunas to pull ahead and close out the win.

Bench production proved to be another key factor for Neptunas. Zane Waterman gave the visitors a lift in the second quarter and finished with 15 points, while Harrison Cleary delivered in the final period, knocking down key three-pointers on his way to 16 points. Arnas Velicka also provided multiple scoring options, adding another layer to Neptunas’ offense.

‘‘Overall, I don’t think that today was a bad energy and bad mindset,’’ said coach Gediminas Petrauskas after the game. ‘‘Our problem was shooting. We created shots, we missed, even the layups. I felt that our team is a little bit nervous, we feel the pressure, we must win, we need to win, and it felt a little bit on our shoulders.’’

Hamburg, chasing its first win of the season, came close behind a red-hot Ross Williams, who carried the offense and kept his team in the game. The American guard posted a career-high 32 points and 5 rebounds for a PIR of 34. He made 5 three-pointers and was 8-of-8 in the paint.

Zacharie Perrin also contributed heavily, especially in the second half, finishing with 16 points and making his presence felt in the paint.

Next up, Neptunas will look to carry the momentum back home as it faces Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana, while Hamburg will continue its search for a first win of the season on the road at U-BT Cluj-Napoca.

The Latvian sharpshooter shined bright with a career-high 33 points

 Chemnitz grabbed its fourth consecutive victory by topping London 70-78 at the Copper Box and 25-year-old forward Kostja Mushidi had a career-best performance against the London Lions

It wasn't pretty, but Chemnitz NINERS got the job done in Round 13. Chemnitz grabbed its fourth consecutive victory by topping London 70-78 at the Copper Box. All of a sudden, Coach [Rodrigo Pastore](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/teams/niners-chemnitz/nin/pastore-rodrigo)'s team has a winning record, 7-6, and a two-victory gap over the Lions and ratiopharm ulm, who are both below the playoffs cut with 5-8 records.

It was a hard-fought battle in which Chemnitz limited its mistakes down the stretch and found a go-to guy in [Corey Davis](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/corey-davis-jr-/013890/) in the final minutes. Davis buried a critical three-pointer and added a driving basket that sealed the outcome, 70-76, with over a minute left. Both teams finished the game with 18 turnovers and neither of them shot the ball well from beyond the arc: the hosts made 8 of 26 three-pointers (30.6% 3FG) and Chemnitz buried 9 of 29 shots from downtown (31.0% 3FG).

Chemnitz missed center [Amadou Sow](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/amadou-sow/012598/) for the first time this season and it was a significant absence, as Sow had been playing great recently, averaging 17.0 points and 6.0 rebounds for a PIR of 18.4 in the last five games. As always, injuries sometimes give opportunities to other players and [Kostja Mushidi](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/kostja-mushidi/006634/) made the most of it.

Mushidi entered the game averaging 4.5 points and 1.5 rebounds for a PIR of 3.0 in 11 games. He played a near-perfect first half, striking twice from beyond the arc and making 5 of 6 shots for 12 points and a PIR of 13 before the break. Mushidi ended up setting career-highs in points (22), assists (5), steals (3) and PIR (26). Chemnitz needed a second scorer to work alongside the ever-reliable [Kevin Yebo](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/eurocup/players/kevin-yebo/013368/) and Mushidi became his team's X-factor. 

Yebo also delivered again, finishing the game with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for a PIR of 21.

After the game, Coach Pastore revealed how he got Mushidi back on track: "Kostja has something to prove. He is not wasting this opportunity that he has been given We are tough and demanding on him. We have high expectations on him and he is not shying away from it. I am very proud of him," he said. 

"We Had a video session with him yesterday and were a little bit tough. We were not happy with his performance in the last game and he answered like good players do, with actions. A very good game from him today."

"\[I was focused on\] playing team basketball, doing the right plays, trusting my teammates and just believing in myself. All the hard work I put in it showed today," Mushidi said after the game. "We got great character in our group. All the best to Amadou Sow, we missed him today, but we have character. It was a character win. I'm proud of the guys."

"This is a very resilient group with all the difficulties that we have. We are still here standing four out of four in the second round \[second half of the regular season\]. I am very proud of these guys," Coach Pastore said after the game. "In the end, we made the plays we needed to make."

The 25-year-old forward had a career-best performance against the London Lions

Umana Reyer Venice once again defended its home court in grabbing a crucial victory over U-BT Cluj-Napoca in the fight for the playoffs, thanks to Stefan Nikolic’s career night. 
Nikolic poured in a personal-best 23 points to lead a Reyer team that slowed down the BKT EuroCup’s number one offense with a 90-83 win for a three-game winning streak and the head-to-head tiebreaker over Cluj.

Umana Reyer Venice once again defended its home court in grabbing a crucial victory over U-BT Cluj-Napoca in the fight for the playoffs, thanks to Stefan Nikolic’s career night.

Nikolic poured in a personal-best 23 points to lead a Reyer team that slowed down the BKT EuroCup’s number one offense with a 90-83 win for a three-game winning streak and the head-to-head tiebreaker over Cluj.

Cluj won the first game against Reyer at home 103-102, but Reyerin ahead in the standings as both sides have 7-6 records in Group A. Reyer remained a powerhouse at home with a 5-1 record at the Palasport Taliercio.

“I cannot be more happy. I give credit to everyone on the roster for what they did tonight, playing good defense. At the end of the game, we made so many mistakes and they scored more than in the first three quarters. But this is the best offensive team in the EuroCup and it’s not easy to keep them under 80 points,” Reyer coach Neven Spahija said afterwards.

Reyer’s defense stood strong for 30 minutes, giving up only 52 points and Cluj’s lowest scoring game this season in the EuroCup was 72 points in Round 10 at Bahcesehir College Istanbul.

The man of the hour was Nikolic, who had another big game as Reyer looked for other offensive weapons to make up for the absences of Jordan Parks and Ky Bowman, who are the third and fourth top scorers for the team.

“I feel great. This was an amazing win. We needed this one so much to feel the confidence again in the EuroCup,” said Nikolic, who had scored 14 points in Round 12 to set a career-high.

The 28-year-old also joked afterwards about being thrust into the spotlight, saying: “I understand how Kyle Wiltjer feels now. It’s hard to score this much and I respect his job even more now.”

RJ Cole added 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Chris Horton chipped in 11 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks in the win.

Reyer took a 10-point lead early in the second quarter and led 41-34 at the break. Cluj was only down 48-44 when the hosts went on a 13-5 surge to establish a 12-point cushion.

Reyer looked in control and held a 15-point cushion (80-65) with 3:31 minutes to go. Cluj’s offensive firepower flashed one last time and got the deficit to 81-74 when Alessandro Lever drained a three-pointer with 76 seconds to make it a 10-point lead.

Cluj could only trim it to 5 points in the waning seconds as Reyer held on.

“It was tough until the end. We had to stay calm. They were so aggressive but we managed the game in the end,” added Nikolic.

Cluj came into the game with a six-game winning streak, including the last two in the EuroCup. But Mihai Silvasan’s team shot only 46 percent on two-pointers and only could force Reyer into 10 turnovers.

Trey Woodbury and Mitch Creek both scored 18 points and Dusan Miletic tallied 16 points with 9 rebounds, while the league’s leading scorer Fatts Russell was held to just 9 points - 13.1 below his average.

“Our mindset needs to be different. We didn’t start the game with the right mindset. We weren’t ready to give everything we had in order to win this game,” Silvasan said.

“We had good moments in some parts, but we didn’t have the mindset we wanted to have - and that is a champion’s mindset. We didn’t have that. It’s not about how good or bad you are a night regarding shooting, it’s about what you do from the effort point of view. And we didn’t have that at our maximum tonight.”

Heading into Wednesday's clash against a strong [Buducnost VOLI Podgorica](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/teams/buducnost-voli-podgorica/bud/) side, Panionios had 23 losses in 24 games across all competitions, including 11 consecutive defeats in Europe.

Nenad Markovic had shortly arrived to become the team’s fifth coach of the season in a desperate pursuit of the new-coach bounce. His appointment was followed by the arrival of experienced guard [Joe Thomasson](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/joe-thomasson/012095/), who inspired Panionios’s best performance this term.

The Greek side pulled off an upset against a Buducnost team that came into the game as the competition’s fourth-best defense with an average of 78.6 points conceded per game. Not only did Panionios reach its average of 75 points scored per game with 9 minutes left on the clock, but Markovic’s side exploded to a season-high point tally in a 97-85 triumph at home.

“We played against one of the contenders for the EuroCup,” Markovic said in the post-game press conference. “They show every year great performance in the ABA League and EuroCup. It wasn’t easy for the guys, because third coach, third philosophy, everything changed. But they responded fantastic, they brought great energy, they stayed together.”

The hosts bettered all their scoring averages by going 20-for-32 (62.5% 2FG) from inside the arc, 14-for-27 (51.9% 3FG) from deep and 15-for-17 (88.2%) from the free-throw line. They also dished as many as 25 assists and outrebounded Buducnost 31-30.

“I think that this victory is important to make them understand what they need to do as a team to win the games. And we showed it today,” Markovic added. “We played much better defense, we fought, we stayed together in the difficult moments, we controlled the rebounds. Many players made contributions and I think that’s the way for us.”

The team’s confidence on the court was embodied by Thomasson, who hit the ground running at Panionios. Introduced in the starting five by Markovic, the 32-year-old guard embraced the role of the leader from the off.

He helped his team dictate the tempo on offense and hustled from start to finish on defense, pulling off a complete display. In fact, Thomasson ended the game on 16 points, having gone 4-for-6 on field goals and 6-for-6 from the charity stripe. He also bagged 6 assists and 4 rebounds, as well as 1 steal and a block.

“Thomasson is a player who played in winning situations before in Gran Canaria, in Tofas, in Manresa,” Markovic noted. “And he has this mentality to put these guys together and make them understand that he came here to win, not to lose. I think it’s good that a player with his experience and his impact can help other players too.”

Panionios's performance against Buducnost could serve as the turning point for a team that were desperate for a spark, which has been provided by Markovic and Thomasson.

Following such a boost in morale, they will look to build some momentum and find the consistency that will allow them to end the season on a positive note by bouncing back from adversity in this final stretch of the 2025-26 campaign.

Hapoel Midtown Jerusalem extended its winning streak to 10 games with a historic 115-72 victory over Slask Wroclaw, setting new club records for points, margin of victory, and first-half scoring. Austin Wiley starred with a career-high double-double.

“I feel great,” said Austin Wiley, moments after he helped his Hapoel Midtown Jerusalem team break multiple club records and extend its winning streak to 10 games, defeating Slask Wroclaw 72-115.

The visitors arrived at Hala Orbita on a mission, controlling the pace from opening tip and finishing the opening half with 64 points, besting the previous club record of 61 for a EuroCup game. Despite the efforts of Ainars Bagatskis’s men, Jerusalem could not be slowed down and at the final buzzer, had passed its single-game total point record of 112, which stood for 18 years. To top off the monumental performance, Yonatan Alon’s team also recorded the largest margin of victory in club history.

The emphatic result punctuates a dominant run for the club, which improved its winning streak to 10 consecutive games, climbing to 11-2 for the campaign. There was not a facet of the game in which the road team did not overwhelm its Polish counterparts. Jerusalem outrebounded Slask by 13 boards, logged 15 more team assists and kept its turnovers in single digits. It shot the lights out, too, making 16 of 29 efforts from beyond the arc.

Wiley shone with a truly impressive double-double, recording a career-high 18 points and 12 boards in less than 15 minutes on the floor. Cassius Winston led the way in scoring, finishing the game with 22 of his own.  Jared Harper scored steadily to earn 17 points and 8 assists. Justin Smith, Anthony Lamb and Isaiah Mobley also finished the game in double digits, with Lamb coralling 12 rebounds.

“It was a great team effort, a great win, everybody contributed,” said Wiley. “I am most proud that we held each other accountable throughout the game, even when we went up big, we kept the intensity and held each other accountable.”

Cosea JL Bourg-en-Bresse executed its game plan to perfection, using size and physicality to beat Lietkabelis Panevezys 73–86 at Kalnapilio Arena on Wednesday. The win lifted Bourg to 11–2 in Group B and by the end of the evening, it also meant that Bourg became the first team to clinch a spot in the postseason. Bourg now has a two-game cushion over second-place Besiktas GAIN Istanbul - and a six-win lead over seventh-place London Lions - with five games left in the round-robin phase.

From the start, Bourg imposed its will in the paint. A 0–10 run capped by 6 points from Kevin Kokila gave the visitors a 12–22 lead they never relinquished. Kokila was unstoppable early, scoring 14 points on 6-of-8 shooting and grabbing 4 rebounds by halftime.

“Physicality was the key,” Kokila said. “It is important to start the new year with a win in the EuroCup. We have to continue because the season is long.”

TaJuan Agee provided a big boost off the bench, playing both center and power forward. At the break, he had 7 points and 3 rebounds, and he kept delivering after halftime. Agee finished with 19 points, Kokila added 18, and together they combined to make 12-of-17 two-pointers and 13-of-14 free throws.

Lietkabelis fought back to within 58–60 early in the fourth quarter, but Bourg found its X-factor: Assemian Moulare, scoreless until then, erupted for 9 points in the final 6 minutes as Bourg built a decisive 66–81 margin. Bourg also caught fire from deep, hitting 4-of-8 triples in the fourth after going 2-of-16 through three quarters.

Coach Frederic Fauthoux praised his team’s execution: “It was a very good victory, because it’s never easy to win here. We played to our strengths, with great energy and intensity. We played very good defense tonight, and a lot of times we secured our rebounds, and that was the key.”

Bourg also excelled in efficiency: 23-of-37 two-pointers (62.2%), 22-of-24 free throws (91.7%), 18 assists, and just 6 turnovers. Darius McGhee scored only the first basket of the game, but contributed 4 rebounds and 5 assists with zero turnovers.

Despite 15 offensive rebounds, Lietkabelis struggled inside, making just 16-of-42 two-pointers (38.1%). Bourg now turns its attention to a pivotal showdown against Besiktas on January 14.

Turk Telekom Ankara snapped its two-game skid with a hard-fought 92–86 victory over Dolomiti Energia Trento on Wednesday night at Ankara Spor Salonu, strengthening its bid for a top-two finish in Group B.

“Defense is the biggest thing that we have to do every night,” said Kris Bankston, who led the hosts with 14 points. “The atmosphere was great tonight.”

The win lifted Turk Telekom to 8–5, while Trento fell to 7–6 after its four-game winning run came to an end. Despite shooting better from all ranges — 52.6% to 46.3% on two-pointers, 47.6% to 37.5% from deep, and 84.2% to 81.8% at the line — Trento was undone by 22 turnovers and 14 offensive rebounds allowed. Those extra chances turned into 18 second-chance points for the home side.

Kyle Alexander added 13 points and Jordan Usher 12 for the winners.

Dogus Ozdemiroglu set the tone early, scoring 10 points without a miss in the opening 7 minutes to give Turk Telekom a 27-22 edge after one quarter. Despite Trento’s superior shooting, Turk Telekom was ahead 47-43 at the break.

The decisive stretch came in the third quarter. Bankston’s energy inside sparked Turk Telekom before Uros Trifunovic caught fire with 10 points in the period, including a three-pointer that made it 69–57 — the first double-digit margin of the night.

Trento rallied behind Khalif Battle early in the fourth, cutting the deficit to 69–64, but he had little help as no other Trento player scored during that stretch and Turk Telekom rebuilt control. Matas Jogela’s late shooting flurry narrowed the gap, yet the hosts sealed the win from the line.

While pleased with the result, Turk Telekom coach Erdem Can, was not a happy man after the game ended: “We played terrible basketball today, especially defensively. It’s unacceptable… Closing the game in the final minutes, I cannot describe. It’s a disaster. We need to get better.”

Retin Obasohan led the way with 18 points from 7-10 shooting, while also dishing out 6 assists. Ferran Bassas, Agustin Ubal and teenager Gerard Fernandez all finished the game with 14 points, while Marcis Steinbergs and Alex Reyes reached 12 apiece.

Though the crucial win moves his team to 7-6 and separates it from Aris, who fell to 6-7, the standings weren’t at the front of Obasohan’s mind.

“Not at all,” said Obasohan. “Our philosophy is that we want to compete and bring our best every single day, show up every day in games, practice, shootaround and recovery. We feel that if you do the right thing every day, the results will show.”

Manresa certainly did all the right things in the record-breaking first half, moving the ball with fluidity and scoring by committee. A mountain was formed and when asked if his team could climb it, Aris coach Igor Milicic gave an honest answer.

"For pride, we play only for pride,” the coach stated.

His team honored his message in the second half, playing with abundant pride and eventually sparking the respectable comeback attempt down the stretch. Milicic acknowledged that his team had simply fallen too far behind with the substandard first half.

“We didn’t show up with the right mentality. Players have to look at themselves in the mirror and bring in each moment, the best that they have. We didn’t run in the first half, we didn’t box out, we didn’t fight.”

Despite the poor start, Aris will hope to bring the momentum of the fourth quarter into next week's contest against group leader Hapoel Midtown Jerusalem. Manresa, will travel to Bahcesehir College Istanbul in an attempt to climb the table further.

"That's a huge win for us, we came together as a team," said [Tyler Cavanaugh](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/tyler-cavanaugh/009601/) after the game. "Obviously, Malachi Flynn has carried us all year and tonight, he didn't have his normal night. We picked each other up and and that's what we need to get to where we want to get to."

Cavanaugh backed that up as one of Bahcesehir’s key contributors, finishing with 12 points and 10 rebounds while knocking down three timely triples to keep the offense flowing.

Bahcesehir struggled to find its offensive rhythm in the first half but returned from the locker room with a different edge. Timely three-pointers and a more aggressive defensive approach set the tone after the break, as head coach Marko Barac later pointed to as the key to the win.

"I'm happy for my guys because they found a way to win, they found a way to turn this state of being nervous into very competitive and aggressive defense and we won this one by defense. This is the fact," said Barac. "This is just an away game, important in the EuroCup like every other, but we still have a long way to go, and we need to keep winning."

[Matt Mitchell](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/matthew-mitchell/012622/) was another steady force on offense, finishing with 13 points and 5 rebounds while stepping up in key stretches. Off the bench, [Ismet Akpinar](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/ismet-akpinar/004056/) provided a crucial spark, knocking down four three-pointers and accounting for nearly half of Bahcesehir’s nine shots from beyond the arc when it mattered most.

Despite season averages of 90.7 points for Bahcesehir and 88.4 for Cedevita, the game unfolded as a lower-scoring affair, with neither team able to find its usual shooting rhythm.

For Cedevita, only two players reached double figures. [Umoja Gibson](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/umoja-gibson/013855/) led the way with 25 points, keeping the offense alive, while [Aleksej Nikolic](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/aleksej-nikolic/003703/) added 16. With limited contributions from the frontcourt, the home side couldn’t stop Bahcesehir from pulling away down the stretch.

"I'm happy with the defense, but offense tonight, especially second, all game we haa hugege problem… Our big guys just disappeared," said coach Zvezdan Mitrovic after the game, reflecting on his team’s struggles.

In the next round, Bahcesehir will look to hold onto second place as it hosts BAXI Manresa, while Cedevita heads on the road to face Neptunas Klaipeda.

“I am very happy with the win, especially this win and how we did it,” said Besiktas head coach Dusan Alimpijevic, whose team had lost road games to the London Lions and NINERS Chemnitz in the last two rounds.

The Serbian coach definitely could be happy about how his defense played compared to the two losses, having given up 98 and 97 points in those games. Besiktas held Ulm to just 6 three-pointers on 26.1% shooting. The hosts came into the game ranked 19th in opponents three-point shooting at 37.6% and Ulm’s offense ranked 4th in long range shooting at 37.8%.

After a tight game with eight lead changes and Ulm leading 32-36 midway through the second quarter, Mathews scored 10 straight points in a 13-0 run to lead 47-38 at the break. 

Besiktas opened the second half with an 8-2 spurt to lead 55-40 and never saw the advantage drop below 11 points the rest of the way – twice coming up with defensive stops in the fourth quarter when Ulm could have made it a single-digit game.

“We played a pretty good game aside from the first quarter, which is normal. We played an amazing three quarters,” said Alimpijevic, who also expressed his satisfaction of grabbing 13 offensive rebounds. 

“It was big for us. We lost our last two EuroCup games so we knew we had to come out here, play tough and make a statement. And I think we did a good job of that,” Brown said.

Ulm came to Istanbul with only 10 players and really could not match Besiktas’s depth. [Chris Ledlum](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/christopher-ledlum/013968/) scored 17 points, [Tobias Jensen](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/tobias-jensen/010726/) had 15 points and [Mark Smith](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/eurocup/players/mark-smith/013969/) added 13 points, but those efforts were not enough. 

“They are undefeated at home in the EuroCup. I think our players competed. I am proud of our guys. We are a little undermanned at the moment but that is a very good basketball team and they showed it today. They handled the rebounds, especially the offensive rebounds. They shot the ball well,” Ulm head coach Ty Harrelson said. 

“We lost the game in the second quarter. We got dominated on offensive rebounds and we couldn’t find ways to score. That was the main difference in the game.”

Turk Telekom defeated Trento 92-86 on Wednesday night at Ankara Spor Salonu to snap a two-game losing streak and remain in thick of the battle for a top-two spot in Group B. Kris Bankston led six Turk Telekom scorers in double figures with 14 points and Kyle Alexander added 13 in lifting their team's record to 8-5.

Trento outshot Turk Telekom from all distances, but allowed 14 offensive rebounds – which the hosts converted into 18 second-chance points, and committed 22 turnovers, which together were too much to overcome. Matas Jogela and Peyton Aldridge scored 16 apiece to pace Trento, which saw its four-game winning streak end as it fell to 7-6.

Neither team led by more than 5 points in the first half, which finished with Turk Telekom up 47-43. Uros Trifunovic heated up with 10 points in the third quarter, including a three that gave the hosts a double-digit lead, 69-57. Khalif Battle scored the first 5 points of the fourth quarter to get Trento within 69-64, but no other Trento player scored in the first 5 and a half minutes of the quarter as Turk Telekom rebuilt a double-digit lead. Jogela late threes were not enough for the visitors.

Bourg became the first team to clinch a berth in the postseason on Wednesday after it defeated Lietkabelis 73-86 at Kalnapilio Arena and later results went its way. Bourg improved to 11-2 in the standings and is one a three-game winning streak. Meanwhile, Lietkabelis dropped to 3-10 as its already-slim chances to reach the playoffs suffered another blow.

TaJuan Agee led the winners with 19 points. Kevin Kokila added 18 while Ricky Lindo had 11 for Bourg. Jamel Morris paced Lietkabelis with 22 points, Michael Flowers scored 17, Paulius Danusevicius had 14 and Fardaws Aimaq pulled down 12 rebounds for Lietkabelis, which trailed almost all the way but managed to get within 58-60 with less than 8 minutes remaining. Kokila, Agee and Assemian Moulare stepped up in crunch time to make sure Bourg returned home with a good-as-gold road victory.

Panionios ended its 11-game losing slide by beating Buducnost 97-85 on Wednesday evening at National Athletic Center Makis Liougas. On his debut as the team’s new coach, Nenad Markovic saw a much-improved Panionios trade blows with Buducnost in the first half, as the guests took a 43-44 edge at halftime. Then the hosts exploded for 28 points in the third quarter and established a double-figure lead that they maintained throughout. 

Having scored a season-high 97 points against the EuroCup's fourth-best defense, Panionios improved its record to 2-11. Meanwhile, Buducnost suffered its third straight road loss, dropping to 8-5. 

Giorgos Tsalmpouris led all scorers with 18 points on 4-for-7 shooting from deep. Joe Thomasson stood out on his debut by recording 16 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds. Nate Watson netted 14 points and Jackson Kreuser bagged 13. Nikola Tanaskovic paced Buducnost with 17 points and Yogi Ferrell scored 15 in a losing effort.

Jerusalem’s winning streak moved to 10 games on Wednesday when it defeated Slask Wroclaw and broke multiple records at Hala Orbita. Setting the pace from opening tip, Yonatan Alon’s men cruised to a 72-115 victory which improved their record to 11-2 for the EuroCup campaign.

The hosts’ 64-point first half bested their previous club half scoring record of 61, then with 2 minutes on the clock, they improved their previous game single game record of 112. They did not take their foot off the gas, also shattering their previous score differential record by securing the 43-point victory.

Austin Wiley led the way with a double-double, recording a career-high 18 points and 12 boards. Cassius Winston led the way in scoring, finishing the game with 22 of his own, while Jared Harper scored steadily to earn 17 points and 8 assists. Justin Smith, Anthony Lamb and Isaiah Mobley also finished the game in double digits. Ajdin Penava and Jakub Niziol netted 15 each in defeat.

Neptunas claimed a hard-fought 94-98 road win at Hamburg's Inselpark Arena on Wednesday night. The result lifted Neptunas to 6-7 in Group A, while Hamburg fell to 0-13. Played at a fast pace, both teams matched each other early on, with a balanced first half setting the tone. Neptunas’s ability to limit turnovers proved decisive, and in a tight finish, Hamburg’s late turnover with 20 seconds remaining allowed the visitors to pull ahead and close out the game.

For Neptunas, Rihards Lomazs led the way with a career-high 33 points and 6 assists, while Harrison Cleary added 16, Zane Waterman finished with 15, and Arnas Velicka contributed 11 points and 4 assists. Ross Williams posted a career-high 32 points and 5 rebounds for Hemburg, Zacharie Perrin added 16 points and 5 rebounds, Leonard Thorpe recorded 14 and 4 assists, and Martin Breunig finished with 12.

Reyer remained a powerhouse at home with an important 90-83 victory over Cluj to snatch the head-to-head tiebreaker between them. Reyer put together a 13-5 run late in the third quarter for a 12-point lead and made it hold up to extend its winning streak to three games and improve to 7-6 including, 5-1 at the Palasport Taliercio. 

Stefan Nikolic poured in a career-high 23 points to lead the way for Reyer with RJ Cole picking up 18 points and 8 rebounds. Cluj had won its last two games but fell to 7-6 despite Trey Woodbury and Mitch Creek both scoring 18 points and Dusan Miletic tallying 16 points with 9 rebounds.

NINERS grabbed its fourth consecutive victory in Group B by downing London 70-78 at the Copper Box Arena in the British capital on Wednesday. Chemnitz improved to 7-6 in the standings and has a two-win gap over the Lions, which dropped to 5-8. Chemnitz also claimed the head-to-head tie-break advantage after London had recorded a 67-68 road victory against the NINERS in Round 4.

Kostja Mushidi paced the winners with 22 points and 5 assists. Kevin Yebo added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists, Corey Davis had 12 points while Yordan Minchev got 11 for Chemnitz. Tarik Phillip and Shavar Reynolds led the Lions with 15 points apiece. Deane Williams added 13 while Karolis Lukosiunas got 10 for the hosts, who trailed 68-69 with 3 minutes left. Davis buried a critical three-pointer and followed Mushidi's layup with and driving basket that sealed the outcome, 70-76, in the next-to-last minute.

Besiktas remained the only undefeated team at home in the EuroCup by rolling past Ulm 97-76 to snap a two-game losing streak. Besiktas took control of the game with a 23-4 run spanning the middle two quarters to improve to 9-4 overall and 7-0 at home. 

Vitto Brown paced five Besiktas players in double figures with 23 points while Jonah Mathews scored 18 points with 4 assists and Ante Zizic tallied 10 points and 11 rebounds in the win. Ulm continues to struggle with its sixth loss in the last seven games for a 5-8 record. Christopher Ledlum paced the guests with 17 points.

Manresa moved ahead of its opposition on Tuesday night at Pavello Nou Congost, holding on to win by 14 and move to 7-6 for the season. The home team's best work was done in the first half, in which they smashed their single-half scoring record by 63 in the opening 20 minutes. Despite a buoyant fourth quarter comeback attempt, Aris couldn’t quite come back from a sizeable 32-point deficit, so slips below the hosts with a 6-7 EuroCup record.

Diego Ocampo’s team scored by committee on their way to victory, with Retin Obasohan leading the way with 18 points from 7-10 shooting. Ferran Bassas, Agustin Ubal and Gerard Fernandez all finished the game with a total of 14, while Marcis Steinbergs and Alex Reyes reached 12 apiece.

With the win Manresa bounces back from last week’s loss to Hapoel Midtown Jerusalem and strengthens its hopes of postseason basketball. Aris now holds a two-game losing streak, so will hope to regroup ahead of next week’s contest.

Bahcesehir secured a 59-67 road win over Cedevita Olimpija at Arena Stozice in a closely contested Group A matchup, breaking the tie between the two sides to move to 9-4 in the standings, while Cedevita dropped to 8-5. After Cedevita held the momentum and built a 10-point lead by halftime, Bahcesehir responded with a strong third-quarter run. The Istanbul side took control in the second half, stretching the lead behind effective shooting from beyond the arc and closing out the game.

Matt Mitchell led Bahcesehir with 13 points and 5 rebounds, while Tyler Cavanaugh posted 12 points and 10 rebounds. Trevion Williams added 9 points and 10 rebounds, and Ismet Akpınar contributed 12 points. For Cedevita Olimpija, Umoja Gibson led the way with 25 points, Aleksej Nikolic added 16 points, and Luka Brajkovic finished with 6 points and 9 rebounds.
