The visitors' backcourt will be led by rising star Jean Montero, who had 13 points and 8 assists in Piraeus, while Maccabi hopes that recent signing Iffe Lundberg will follow a strong display in Dubai by continuing to exert a growing influence.

A thrilling encounter looks guaranteed as two of Tuesday’s winners meet, with fourth-placed Panathinaikos (10-6) welcoming league leader Hapoel (12-4). The Greens snapped a two-game losing streak by triumphing at Fenerbahce behind 25 points from usual suspect Kendrick Nunn, and another boost was the Cedi Osman’s return after injury. Hapoel made it three straight wins by outlasting Zvezda as late scores by Chris Jones finished a job that had been started by 28 points from the outstanding Elijah Bryant, whose matchup with Nunn promises fireworks. Efes (6-10) will look to make it two wins out of two this week by overcoming direct rival Dubai (7-9). The Turkish team made a perfect start under Pablo Laso by crushing Zalgiris, with the return of big man Vincent Poirier from injury making a big difference as he paired 14 points with 6 rebounds. He faces a good battle with the hugely consistent Filip Petrusev, who ranks fifth in the league with an average PIR of 19.8. In the backcourt, Dubai will hope McKinley Wright can stay hot after an astonishing performance – 26 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds – in Tuesday’s last-gasp loss to Maccabi, while Efes will be led by the playmaking of Nick Weiler-Babb, who dished 13 assists in Kaunas.

Two teams eager to bounce straight back meet in Kaunas with Zalgiris (9-7) welcoming Partizan (6-10). Bayern’s (5-11) seven-game road odyssey finally concludes with a tough trip to face Monaco (9-7). Both teams are looking for a revival, with Bayern’s losing streak reaching seven games after suffering a second consecutive one-point defeat at ASVEL on Wednesday. Monaco – one of five teams currently tied for sixth place – has slipped to two straight losses after suffering a poor night offensively earlier this week at Baskonia, where only Mike James (21 points) could score more than 10 points. Vassilis Spanoulis’s men particularly need to rediscover their long-range accuracy after going 4-of-19 from three-point range in that defeat, while Bayern’s chief challenge is to find better penetration after converting just 44.7% of its two-pointers in the loss at ASVEL.

### Olympiacos Piraeus vs. LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne (20:15 CET)

ASVEL (4-12) will seek its first road win of the season as it travels to face an Olympiacos (8-7) team hoping to emerge from a three-game losing slide. The French team could have to cope without Nando De Colo after he limped out of Wednesday’s win over Bayern, which saw fellow veteran backcourt star Thomas Heurtel step up to sink the late game-winning basket. Olympiacos will look to dominate physically through Nikola Milutinov and Sasha Vezenkov – respectively ranked first and second in the league in PIR – who combined for 37 points and 16 rebounds in Tuesday’s loss to Valencia. Staying at home with an extra day to recover and rest should work in the Reds’ favor, but ASVEL will feel it has nothing to lose.

### FC Barcelona vs. Kosner Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz (20:30 CET)

Red-hot Barcelona (11-5) hopes to extend its four-game winning streak with a visit from a Baskonia (6-10) aiming for a first road win. The hosts hope Will Clyburn continues his spectacular form after averaging 23.0 points and 6.7 rebounds in the last three games, while Baskonia will look for center Eugene Omuruyi to control the paint after debuting in Wednesday’s win over Monaco. That game also saw influential playmaker Trent Forrest consolidate his return from injury with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists, and Barca needs Tomas Satoransky to contain him. Injury-hit Zvezda’s latest loss came at Hapoel on Tuesday despite Jared Butler maintaining his strong form by pouring in 27 points, and the host will look for better ball circulation after only recording 11 assists in that game. These are two of the best defensive teams in the competition (Zvezda ranks second with 81.9 points per game allowed; Virtus fourth with 82.7 points), and this could become an intense physical battle.

EuroLeague fans, we have our 16th winner in this season's [EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge](https://euroleaguefantasy.euroleaguebasketball.net/)! Milos Trajkovic beat everyone else in Round 16 with his team KK Zuca Mitic, which had a Fantasy Challenge score of 244.50.

Milos had the following lineup: Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv's Elijah Bryant as team captain, then his teammate Dan Oturu, Armoni Brooks of EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, McKinley Wright of Dubai Basketball and Roman Sorkin of Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv as his starters. Will Clyburn of FC Barcelona was his sixth man. Milos's bench players were FC Bayern Munich duo of Leon Kratzer and Oscar Da Silva, and Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade duo of Dejan Davidovac and Stefan Miljenovic. Barcelona play-caller Xavi Pascual was Milos's head coach.

Baskonia finally beat AS Monaco for the first time since October 2021, snapping its seven-game losing streak in their head-to-head games. And Trent Forrest, who returned last week after missing nine games with an injury, was everywhere in Baskonia’s 85-73 win.

[Kosner Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/teams/kosner-baskonia-vitoria-gasteiz/bas/) playmaker [Trent Forrest](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/trent-forrest/013367/) was doing a post-game interview on EuroLeague TV, answering a question about leading his team to a resounding win over [AS Monaco](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/teams/as-monaco/mco/), when his teammate [Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/timothe-luwawu-cabarrot/012080/) walked in front of the camera. The Frenchman hugged Forrest and said:

“He is back, and that’s the problem!”

And Luwawu-Cabarrot’s words rang so true.

And Forrest, who returned last week after missing nine games with an injury, was everywhere in Baskonia’s 85-73 win.

“I try to impact the game whichever way I can. Setting the teammates up, playing defense, whatever \[is needed\]. Just trying to do my part,” said Forrest, who did all that and more.

He was his team’s second-best scorer with 17 points, making 5-of-7 field goals, while he paced the team with 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 blocks.

Forrest did all that in 24 minutes on the floor, during which Baskonia was a remarkable +30.

Even [Gytis Radzevicius](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/gytis-radzevicius/014190/), who just recently joined the team, quickly learned what Forrest brings.

“I am new here, still trying to understand how I need to play, but Trent is playing really good after the injury. Today, he was our leader.”

Radzevicius was one of Baskonia four scorers in double figures. He had 12 points, just like [Markus Howard](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/markus-howard/011948/), who barely played in the second half after picking up his fourth foul early in the third quarter and then his fifth soon after stepping back on the floor in the final frame.

But nothing could shake Baskonia on Wednesday night. Not even Monaco’s 0-14 run midway through the third that saw a 16-point lead all but evaporate. However, Forrest found a cutting Luwawu-Cabarrot, the team’s top scorer with 19 points, for a dunk, then [Clement Frisch](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/clement-frisch/014026/) banked a triple and [Matteo Spagnolo](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/matteo-spagnolo/008173/) beat the shot-clock with a tough, long jumper. And just like that, the double-digit lead was restored.

After that, Baskonia had a reply any time Monaco tried to make a run.

“The guys were very focused, put a lot of energy on defense,” head coach Paolo Galbiati said.

It was his team’s sixth consecutive home win, but the return of Forrest is probably Baskonia’s biggest gain.

The next challenge for Baskonia, however, is to find an answer on the road, where the team has gone 0-7. If Baskonia wants to move up the standings and get closer to the postseason race, it has to start winning away from Vitoria-Gasteiz. And it will have its first chance to do so in 48 hours when it visits FC Barcelona.

[Virtus Bologna](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/teams/virtus-segafredo-bologna/vir/) enjoyed an emphatic 68-86 win at [Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/teams/partizan-mozzart-bet-belgrade/par/) and improved to 8-8 in the EuroLeague while the hosts dropped to 6-10 as their interim head coach Mirko Ocokoljic tasted his first loss after four straight wins in all competitions.

The crushing defeat revamped the ghosts of recent turmoil at Partizan, which forced nine-time EuroLeague champion Zeljko Obradovic to step down while players and the board came under intense pressure from angry fans who sided with the legendary head coach.

Partizan looked in control for most of the first half and was in the driving seat after carving out a 37-30 lead before a swift 0-10 run for Virtus turned the matchup on its head for good. The hosts were still in it until late in the third quarter, when Virtus romped away into a 52-63 lead heading into the fourth before the visitors then hit top gear to silence the imposing Belgrade Arena.

“It’s a huge win for us. (Partizan) is a really good team, the atmosphere was amazing but we stayed together for the full 40 minutes and kept encouraging each other,” said player of the game [Matt Morgan](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/matthew-morgan/012585/), who paced Virtus on 14 points and 5 assists. “We know that when the shots don’t fall we’ve got to find other solutions, and everyone contributed in a lot of different ways. That’s how we are going to win a lot of games on the road,” he added.

Virtus made 11 of 31 from downtown but the shots certainly did fall for [Derrick Alston](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/derrick-alston-jr--/014005/), who also netted 14 points as he sank 4-of-5 threes while [Carsen Edwards](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/carsen-edwards/011987/) poured in 10 of his game-high 20 points in the first quarter.

“Any road win is good, and especially so in this environment. I am really proud of the team and how we fought today,” said Alston. ”We’ve got offensive players able to score on a high level but today we were big on defense. We executed the game plan really well but tomorrow we have to flip the switch to focus on Zvezda.”

Head coach Dusko Ivanovic will look forward to Friday’s matchup with Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade at the same venue after his men forced 20 turnovers from Partizan, which only managed 15 assists while Virtus also dominated the offensive boards 11-6.   

“We suffered three or four tight road defeats but we showed the ability and character to bounce back this evening,” Ivanovic said. “It’s a long season and the most important thing at this stage is to play according to script, which is what we’ve been doing lately despite the losses.”

Having drawn heaps of praise after a pair of successive wins in Europe’s premier club competition, including a comeback 79-76 victory over Zvezda in the previous round, Ocokoljic was brought crashing down to earth amid speculation whether he will stay in charge until the end of the season or make way for one of the big names linked with Partizan in recent weeks.

Some of the anomalies which his predecessor Obradovic had complained about seemed to have resurfaced in the tame defeat by Virtus, as players lacked guile and effort while [Jabari Parker](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/jabari-parker/012745/), the subject of criticism since his summer move from FC Barcelona, failed to get any minutes – and not for the first time this season.

“Our approach was poor and last night I warned the players that they needed to forget the fact that we’d won four on the trot in all competitions,” Ocokoljic told reporters at the post-game press conference.

“We seemed to switch off after taking a 37-30 lead and Virtus needed no second invitation to turn the matchup on its head. We made too many mistakes in the second half and Virtus duly took advantage. Leaving Parker out was entirely my decision after watching him in practice yesterday, while [Tyrique Jones](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/tyrique-jones/011981/) was hampered by injury and it’s unlikely he will be joining us in Kaunas (against Zalgiris) on Friday.”

A four-game losing streak had taken its toll on [LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/teams/ldlc-asvel-villeurbanne/asv/)’s morale, with the French side looking for a response on the court against another struggling side in [FC Bayern Munich](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/teams/fc-bayern-munich/mun/) on Wednesday night. 

The game unfolded just as ASVEL hoped early on as the hosts started strong, with [Nando De Colo](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/nando-de-colo/002100/) netting back-to-back layups to give them an 8-4 lead.

That second bucket saw De Colo reach the 5,000-point mark in the EuroLeague, becoming only the second player to have achieved that milestone after [Mike James](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/mike-james/005985/), who is currently leading the all-time scoring charts.

A Bayern comeback allowed the guests to take a 15-22 lead after 10 minutes, but ASVEL held its opponent to just 16 points in the second quarter and secured a 42-38 cushion at halftime. That’s when his head coach and teammates were informed that De Colo was not going to feature in the second half due to an injury – a major blow for the hosts taking into account that he’s leading ASVEL in points scored, assists and steals so far this season.

To make matters worse, Bayern hit the ground running in the second half in its bid to end a six-game losing slide. The guests restricted ASVEL to just 9 points and ended the third quarter with a 0-11 surge, taking a 51-62 cushion into the fourth.

But ASVEL wouldn’t give up, with guards [Thomas Heurtel](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/thomas-heurtel/klt/) and [Glynn Watson](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/glynn-watson/014013/) stepping up big time to fill in for De Colo. Heurtel and Watson may have turned the game around by netting 4 and 9 crucial points respectively in the fourth quarter, but it was the team’s effort on the other end that clinched the victory. The French side tightened up its defense, forcing Bayern to tough shots, all of which were missed in the last four possessions.

In fact, this was the first time this season that ASVEL gave up fewer than 79 points, with the hosts holding Bayern to under 20 points in both the second and the fourth quarter.

“It’s all on the players’ effort,” head coach Pierric Poupet told EuroLeague TV after the game. “All the credit goes to them. I told you before the game that I trust my players and they believed in themselves, so that’s very important, especially after we lost Nando at halftime. We had great team effort, especially defensively. We kept believing in this win and then we got the crowd going. So, congratulations to my guys. I’m very proud of them tonight.”

Surrendering was never an option for ASVEL despite De Colo’s injury and Bayern’s solid start to the second half. Team effort and character were needed, with Heurtel and Watson covering for their captain by netting 15 and 14 points, respectively, while the defense was suffocating Bayern.

“We’re never going to lay down and quit,” Watson said post-game. “I think that all the guys are putting a lot of work for him \[Coach Poupet\] to trust in us. So, for sure we are not going to lay down and give up.”

ASVEL now boasts a 4-3 record at home, but they have failed to emulate that on the road, where they are yet to win a game. 

The French side is set to play away at a struggling Olympiacos Piraeus on Friday. With their confidence boosted after Wednesday’s home victory, it remains to be seen if they’ll manage to pull off an upset on Greek soil.

Efes rolled past [Zalgiris Kaunas](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/teams/zalgiris-kaunas/zal/), 64–87, on Wednesday night, posting its largest road victory since a 32-point win (65–97) at Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade last season. It also marked Zalgiris’s worst home loss since December 9, 2022 — a game that also came against Efes, which won that night by 26 points (60–86).

Despite the dominant result, Laso made it clear afterward that he wasn’t ready to overreact.

“I’ve been a coach for many years, and I know things don’t change overnight just because I’m here,” Laso told EuroLeague TV. “Igor (Kokoskov) did a great job with this team. This isn’t about Igor or Pablo — it’s about Efes. Everyone has to step up. That’s what we showed from the opening tip. If you want to win in Kaunas, you have to play that way from the start. I’m happy we did that.”

What will have stood out most to the two-time EuroLeague champion was Efes’s professionalism at Zalgirio Arena. The visitors trailed only once, after [Sylvain Francisco](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/sylvain-francisco/007975/) opened the scoring with a three-pointer. Even after being held to just 9 points in the second quarter, Efes still carried a 35–37 lead into halftime.

[Laurynas Birutis](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/laurynas-birutis/005504/) tied the game at 37–37 with the first basket of the second half, but this time Efes didn’t blink. [Cole Swider](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/cole-swider/014025/) scored six quick points to swing the momentum and finished with 18 — his second-highest scoring total of the season and just his second double-figure outing.

“It’s been an up-and-down year,” Swider said. “We’ve had a lot of tough moments. It feels great to come out here, have everyone contribute, and get a win. I’m really grateful for the opportunity.”

The engine behind it all, however, was [Nick Weiler-Babb](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/players/nick-weiler-babb/010391/).

The reigning EuroLeague Defensive Player of the Year shut down Francisco while orchestrating the offense. He didn’t score until late in the third quarter but already had 10 assists by then. Weiler-Babb finished with 7 points and 13 assists, tying his career high. Notably, the only other time he reached 13 assists also came at Zalgirio Arena, when he posted 14 points and 13 assists in [FC Bayern Munich’s win there last season](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/news/bayern-three-pronged-monster-wreaked-havoc-against-zalgiris/). He had zero turnovers in both games.

“I hope this is something we can build on,” Poirier said. “The vibe around the team is really good right now. Everyone supports each other and feels accountable. The veterans are trying to set the standard, and tonight showed what we can look like when everyone is locked in.”

Laso will coach his first home game on Friday night, when Efes welcomes Dubai Basketball to the Turkcell Basketball Development Center. Zalgiris remains in Kaunas for the second game of the double-round week, hosting Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade.

The Pablo Laso era at Efes got off to the perfect start as the Spaniard saw his team grab a 61-82 win at Zalgiris, which ended the Turkish side’s three-game losing streak. This victory was Efes’s first on the road since October 28, when it beat Paris in Round 7. For Zalgiris, it suffered its second straight home loss after also falling to Maccabi in Kaunas in Round 14. Efes got off to a fast start on Wednesday and never looked back, while Zalgiris struggled to ever find top gear.

Efes sharpshooter Cole Swider was the game’s top scorer with 18 points, with his teammates Vincent Poirier and Jordan Loyd adding 14 and 12 points, respectively. Nick Weiler-Babb was very impressive at point guard, too, finishing with 7 points and 13 assists. Zalgiris had just two players reach double figures in scoring: Nigel Williams-Goss with 11 points, and Sylvain Francisco with 10.

ASVEL rallied back in the fourth quarter to beat Bayern 76-74 on Wednesday night at LDLC Arena. The hosts started strong with Nando De Colo netting two straight layups that saw him become only the second player to reach the 5,000-point mark after EuroLeague's all-time top scorer Mike James.

Bayern took a 15-22 lead by ending the first quarter with a 2-9 run, but ASVEL fought back and secured a 42-38 advantage at the break. The visitors held the French side to just 9 points in the third quarter and took a 51-62 cushion into the fourth thanks to a 0-11 run. But ASVEL bounced back and outscored the German team 25-12 to clinch the win. Having ended its four-game losing streak, ASVEL improved its record to 4-12. Meanwhile, Bayern suffered its seventh straight defeat, dropping to 5-11.

Thomas Heurtel paced the hosts with 15 points, 11 of which were scored in the second half. Glynn Watson netted 9 in the fourth quarter, ending the game on 14 points. Spencer Dinwiddie bagged 15 points, but missed some crucial shots in the closing stages.

Virtus enjoyed a comfortable road win at Partizan after the Italian team wiped out an eight-point second quarter deficit to improve to 8-8, while the hosts dropped to 6-10.

The lead changed hands several times in a see-saw first quarter before Virtus pulled away into a 19-24 lead on the back of 10 points from livewire guard Carsen Edwards. Partizan hit back with a 9-1 run early in the second and went on to extend its advantage to 37-30 thanks to some monster dunks from big man Bruno Fernando. Virtus then closed out the first half with a 0-10 run to lead 37-40 at the interval, helped by 10 turnovers from the home team. Virtus carried the momentum into the third quarter and carved out a 52-63 advantage ahead of the final 10 minutes as Partizan’s offense was ground to a halt. Another 0-7 at the start of the fourth put Virtus out of Partizan’s reach and the visitors breezed to their third straight road win over the Serbian side.

Edwards paced Virtus on 20 points while Matt Morgan and Derrick Alston chipped in with 14 each. At the other end, Sterling Brown netted 15 points for Partizan and Duane Washington scored 14.

But Baskonia quickly restored the margin to double digits, then had a reply any time Monaco tried to make a run. 

Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot was Baskonia’s top scorer with 19 points, but it was Trent Forrest who led the way with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Markus Howard and Gytis Radzevicius each added 12 points in a win. Mike James has 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in a losing effort.

Maccabi extended its season-long winning streak to three games as it handed Dubai its first loss at the Coca-Cola Arena with a nail-biting 95-97 victory. Maccabi used some hot three-point shooting for a 17-point lead late in the third quarter. Dubai knotted the game 87-87 with 4 minutes left and tied it again with 27 seconds to play on McKinley Wright’s four-point play. But Maccabi won it on O’Shae Brissett’s dunk with 3.9 seconds left to improve to 6-10.

Jaylen Hoard scored 21 points, Roman Sorkin had 17 points and Iffe Lundberg had 13 points and 4 assists - including the feed to Brissett for his only basket of the game. Dubai fell to 6-9 with now a 6-1 mark in its home arena, though the game was played without fans. McKinley Wright collected career highs of 26 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists, Justin Anderson had 18 points and Filip Petrusev chipped in 15 points in the loss.

Panathinaikos ground out a 77-81 win at Fenerbahce on the back of 25 points from Kendrick Nunn in the battle of the last two EuroLeague champions, improving to 10-6 while the hosts dropped to 9-6 after their first loss in 13 games in all competitions.

In a physical and low-scoring first quarter, Panathinaikos nosed ahead 16-17 with the opening 10 minutes marked by an audacious Talen Horton-Tucker dunk at one end and a Kendrick Nunn shot from way downtown at the other. The Greens pulled away into a 27-37 lead in the second as Nunn caught for the visitors, but Fenerbahce fought hard to stay in touch and slashed the deficit to 37-41 at halftime. An 11-0 run at the start of the third quarter turned the tide and gave Fenerbahce a 48-41 lead, and the hosts stayed in the driving seat to take a 57-50 advantage into the final 10 minutes of the contest. The Greens conjured a 5-16 run early in the fourth quarter to nose ahead 62-66 and held on to their lead in the home straight, as Nunn sank four successive free throws while TJ Shorts added another to silence the home crowd.

Nunn added 4 assists and as many steals to his tally while Cedi Osman chipped in with 11 points for Panathinaikos. At the other end, Talen Horton-Tucker netted 22 points for Fenerbahce, Tarik Biberovic chipped in with 15 and Wade Baldwin added 11, but the competition’s holders were undone by 22 turnovers having only managed 14 assists.

After a third quarter of momentum swings it stayed close right until the final few possessions, when two key baskets from Chris Jones made the difference.

Hapoel was paced by a spectacular Elijah Bryant with 28 points and 9 rebounds, while Dan Oturu added 18 points and Jones netted 15. Jared Butler led Zvezda with 27 points and 8 assists, with Codi Miller-McIntyre (13), Jordan Nwora (11) and Semi Ojeleye (10) also scoring in double digits. Hapoel improved to 12-4 in first place while Zvezda dropped to 9-7 after three straight losses.

Valencia recorded its fifth straight victory by stunning Olympiacos 92-99 on Tuesday night at Peace and Friendship Stadium. A back-and-forth first half saw the visitors take a narrow 47-49 lead into the second half, but Olympiacos opened the third quarter with a 12-0 run and even led by 13 with 1:21 left. Valencia bounced back in the fourth, firing on all cylinders from beyond the arc to outscore the Reds 16-32.

Having grabbed its second win on Greek soil in less than two weeks, Valencia improved its record to 11-5. Meanwhile, the hosts suffered their fourth loss in five games, dropping to 8-7. It should be noted that the road team has won eight straight and 13 of the 17 games between Olympiacos and Valencia this century.

Nathan Reuvers bagged a career-high 21 points and Matt Costello netted 14, having gone 4-for-8 from deep. Marko Guduric notably stepped up in the final frame, helping Milan reestablish a double-digit advantage, but back-to-back threes by Facundo Campazzo created some nerves inside the arena at 84-80. However, Guduric was on hand to score a crucial three – Milan’s 14th on the night – to push the gap to 7 points (87-80) as the Little Red Shoes came away with the win.

Now 9-7 on the season, Milan is 3-1 since Coach Poeta was named head coach on a full-time basis. Real Madrid fell to the same 9-7 record. Guduric was Milan’s top scorer with 22 points, followed by Zach LeDay with 14, Armoni Brooks with 13, and Quinn Ellis and Shavon Shields with 10 apiece. Real Madrid was led by Campazzo with 25 points. Trey Lyles added 14 points for the visitors, while Mario Hezonja had 11.

FC Barcelona recorded its fourth consecutive victory by downing Paris Basketball 69-85 in the French capital in Round 16. Barca improved to 11-5 in the standings. Meanwhile, Paris dropped to 5-11 and is now on a five-game losing streak, matching its longest ever in the competition.

Kevin Punter led the winners with 21 points. Will Clyburn added 19 and 11 rebounds, Dario Brizuela had 18 points, Willy Hernangomez got 13 while Joel Parra contributed 11 for Barca. Nadir Hifi paced Paris with 16 points, Jared Rhoden added 15, Allan Dokossi 14 and Lamar Stevens 12. 

Barca dominated the game almost from start to finish, and Paris's only lead came at 8-6. Barca build a 13-30 margin after 10 minutes, extended it to 29-52 at halftime behind an unstoppable Clyburn and kept a safe lead all the way until the final buzzer.

We still have players who are adapting and returning from injury. We have to learn from this and maintain the right attitude toward the club. We’ve set big goals for ourselves, and the schedule will only get tougher. Maybe it’s psychologically challenging for them as well since they’re playing away from home, but in Israel, for example, it’s easier than at home—say, in Bulgaria, on their home court. They are a Final Four–level team and they punish every mistake we make on offense."

"For me, they (Hapoel) are one of the most complete teams in the EuroLeague. Their record shows it, and the way they play shows it as well. They’re experienced and know how to play. So once again, it will be a 40-minute battle. We have to be consistent for all 40 minutes, not just 30. We’ll try to attack them—they’re a high-quality team—and we hope they won’t be as efficient offensively as they usually are. As for the atmosphere, we’re not expecting anything special. We play in an incredible atmosphere at home, so it doesn’t affect me much. I understand—they’ve been waiting for this. There will be a lot of people, they’ll be supportive and loud, but it’s nothing new for us."

“It’s a very difficult game. We need to get back to winning and our opponent is a very good team. That’s evident from the standings, from the way they play, from their statistical numbers, and also from my personal appreciation of their coach. I believe he is a very good coach. They are a team that keeps improving as time goes by. I don’t think I need to say anything about the pace and intensity they play with — everyone knows that. Everyone shoots: their 4s, their 5s; they spread the floor very well and have good spacing. We need good defensive play, good decision-making on offense, and good control of the tempo in order to win the game.”

“Valencia are playing very well. They are one of the most in-form teams in the EuroLeague right now. For us, this is a game we have to win. We’re playing at home after two losses, and it’s a must-win game. We have to find a way to get it done. We need to take it personally, both on defense and on offense. Basketball is a simple game. You don’t need to overanalyze everything.”

"We know they're a team that plays very well together, generating plays based on their ball movement, and we know it's going to be a tough game on a very difficult court. We know it's going to be very difficult to win tomorrow's game here. Their inside players are at a very high level. Playing with the right flow and having some good pace offensively will help us to play a game that will need to be a courageous one."

“Watching Milano’s recent games puts us on full alert because they’ve delivered great performances and big wins against Panathinaikos and Virtus, not just winning but dominating those games. This tells us we’re facing a team with a lot of talent across nine or 10 rotation players, all with tremendous experience. Ellis brings different qualities and is doing very well, but the rest have great know-how, toughness, and the ability to compete at a high level. I believe Milano’s true level is higher than what the standings currently show. On our side, the focus we bring to the court will be fundamental because they have players capable of scoring even very late in the possession. We must be ready to defend for the full 24 seconds because Milano has three or four players with the composure and experience to do something dangerous and meaningful with 2, 3, or 4 seconds left — not a rushed shot like less mature or less experienced players might take.”

### Paris Basketball vs. FC Barcelona (21:00 CET)

**Xavi Pascual, Barcelona head coach**

"They set a fast pace, they're a team that plays very well in the opening seconds and scores a lot of points. Normally, in games against them, the number of possessions is very high. Therefore, it's a game in which, beyond being able to counteract them a little defensively, above all, we have to play well in attack, because if we want to win, we'll have to score. We have to be clear about that. Then, we also have to control the rebound, as they are a team that rebounds very well, presses all over the court, and causes that constant acceleration of the tempo. And with the schedule we have, we can't just play a back-and-forth game, but we'll have to control the pace a little bit throughout the game. I think we've played very well in the last four games, regardless of whether we beat ASVEL \[in the EuroLeague\] or Gran Canaria \[in the Spanish League\], but the last four have been very good and we have to keep going. It's not that we've only just started, but it's true that it's a whole process and there's a long way to go, and we have to keep going. Now we've finished this week and we're starting a new one, but the problem is this: in this last game, we had to give some players a lot of minutes because it was difficult to manage the minutes, but we pulled it off and now we have to think about the next one.
