Euroleague Basketball has announced that ticket sales for the 2026 EuroLeague Final Four Athens Presented by Etihad will begin on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.

The 2026 EuroLeague Final Four Semifinals will take place on Friday, May 22 at 18:00 and 21:00 Local Times (17:00, 20:00 CEST), while the Championship Game will tip off on Sunday, May 24 at 21:00 Local Time (20:00 CEST). Fans who secure tickets will also enjoy access to the adidas NextGen EuroLeague Championship Game (18:00 Local Time, 17:00 CEST), which will replace the traditional third-place game at Telekom Center Athens before the EuroLeague Championship Game.

For the first time, and in anticipation of exceptionally high demand, Final Four tickets will be released in four public phases. Each phase will feature a limited allocation of tickets across multiple price categories, giving fans several opportunities to purchase and ensuring broader access.

Fans who purchased tickets for the previous three Final Fours, will enjoy exclusive 24 hours access to a pre-sale starting on Tuesday, February 10 at 10:00 CET. The first public sale phase will open on February 11 at 10:00 CET, giving all fans their first chance to secure seats for Athens.

The second phase of ticket sales will open on Thursday, February 26 at 10:00 CET, following the close of the final player registration window. This timing ensures that fans will have a clearer picture of each team’s finalized roster when purchasing tickets.

A third ticket sales window will open on Tuesday, March 17 at 10:00 CET, offering another opportunity for fans to secure their seats for the Final Four. The final sales phase will launch on Monday, April 20 at 10:00 CEST, positioned between the conclusion of the Regular Season and the start of the Play-In Showdown, with ten teams still in the race for a place in the Final Four.

These phased sales are designed to expand opportunities for the EuroLeague’s growing global fan base to attend what is expected to be a highly sought-after event. This structure provides multiple chances for fans to secure tickets, whether they plan to attend regardless of which teams qualify or prefer to wait until the competition moves into its decisive stages.

General public tickets include access to all four games, the two Semifinals on Friday, 18:00 (17:00 CEST) and 21:00 Local Time (20:00 CEST), plus the EuroLeague Championship Game, 21:00 Local Time (20:00 CEST) and adidas NextGen EuroLeague Championship Game, 18:00 Local Time (17:00 CEST) on Sunday.

Once logged in, all available categories will be displayed. Due to expected high demand and to ensure fairness, each fan may purchase a maximum of four tickets. Fans who purchase tickets in one phase will not be eligible to purchase tickets in subsequent phases. Prices range from €399 to €952 depending on the category and phase.

Customers who are unable to attend the event may list their tickets for resale through the official EuroLeague fan-to-fan marketplace, which will open after the second general public sales phase. Any fan can sell its tickets only at the same price it was purchased, guaranteeing that if the ticket is successfully resold, the exact originally paid amount will be refunded to the seller. The injury bug continues to plague EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, as center Josh Nebo will miss at least the next two weeks with a hamstring injury.

Nebo, who is averaging 10.2 points and 5.1 rebounds in 16 EuroLeague games this season, had previously been sidelined with a hamstring injury between Rounds 3 and 9 before a concussion forced him to miss Rounds 11 and 12. 

He has been ruled out of Milan’s two games this week – at home against Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz and on the road against LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne – as well as next week’s home game versus Dubai Basketball.

“Josh Nebo suffered a left hamstring strain during last Sunday’s game against Brescia and will be reevaluated in two weeks,” Milan announced Tuesday. “He will be unavailable for this week’s and next week’s games.”

The 28-year-old joins Leandro Bolmaro, who is out for two weeks with an elbow injury, and Nate Sestina, sidelined since Round 11 with a triceps injury, on Milan’s injury list.

Kostas Papanikolaou, Frank Ntilikina, Monte Morris and Keenan Evans are ruled out for Olympiacos's game at Dubai on Tuesday, the club has confirmed. Moustapha Fall will not play, but he has travelled with the team.

Pajola, who has averaged 4.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.1 steals in 24 EuroLeague games this season, has been dealing with an issue in his left knee and will go under the knife as a result. He was ruled out for Round 25, which was the first game he'd missed this season.

Fantasy tips, Rounds 26-27: The return of the 9-game Tuesday!

Welcome to a very tricky week in the [EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge](https://euroleaguefantasy.euroleaguebasketball.net/). Nine games will be played on Tuesday, which leaves a lone Wednesday game, Virtus Bologna vs. LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, as the only chance for in-round changes. Of course, having players from that game in Round 26 will be critical this week. In addition to the usual suspects, I aim to offer a different approach in this column to help you gain an edge in private leagues and the overall standings.

Before my recommendations, let's take a look at what happened last week. Two of them were great picks: Braian Angola of ASVEL and Talen Horton-Tucker of Fenerbahce. Since he plays on Wednesday, Angola is a good pick this week, too. I don't like to repeat myself, otherwise Sasha Vezenkov of Olympiacos Piraeus would be there every week. Filip Petrusev of Dubai underperformed due to injury, so that was an unlucky pick for fantasy managers. Mario Hezonja of Real Madrid and Tamir Blatt of Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv both gained 0.2 credits, so it's four wins and one loss for me. Nice. Let's see how it goes this week...

EuroLeague Fantasy tips, Rounds 26-27

### Kameron Taylor, Valencia Basket (13.0 credits)

[Kameron Taylor](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/kameron-taylor/011217/) has been Valencia's main scorer all season, and the fact that he was rested in a Spanish League game this weekend tells you that it could be a big week for him. Valencia plays twice on the road, against Efes and Hapoel, and needs Taylor to step up like he has done most of the season. Expect big things from him.

 

### Carsen Edwards, Virtus Bologna (12.0 credits)

[Carsen Edwards](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/carsen-edwards/011987/) missed last week's game, but returned to action in the Italian League with a great all-around performance. He had 23 points and 8 assists for a PIR of 28 against BKT EuroCup side Dolomiti Energia Trento. In his previous game against ASVEL, Edwards scored a season-high 36 points and amassed a PIR of 28. And he is one of the few stars who plays on Wednesday!

 

### Vladimir Lucic, FC Bayern Munich (10.6 credits)

Bayern's team captain has had a big role since Coach Svetislav Pesic returned to the club. Over the last two games, [Vladimir Lucic](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/vladimir-lucic/001288/) has averaged 15.0 points and 5.0 rebounds for a PIR of 21.5. Bayern plays back-to-back games at SAP Garden this week, hosting Paris and Monaco, both of which are high-scoring teams. Lucic should keep posting good numbers.

 

### Cam Payne, Partizan Mozzart Bel Belgrade (10.2 credits)

Partizan has improved a lot over the last three games and [Cam Payne](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/cameron-payne/014213/) has a lot to do with it. He scored 19.8 fantasy points in the wins against Hapoel (in come-from-behind fashion) and Bayern. Payne went on to get 14.0 fantasy points in less than 20 minutes against Milan. There are not many good options at that price.

 

### Ebuka Izundu, Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade (9.9 credits)

The man of the moment when it comes to Fantasy Challenge centers. [Ebuka Izundu](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/ebuka-izundu/014029/) has been extremely effective lately, posting high PIRs in limited playing time. He has averaged 29.0 fantasy points in the last three games, with 39.6 in an overtime road victory against Monaco. All for less than 10 credits! Buy him now!

The hosts need fit-again shooter Dzanan Musa to find his range after only making 1-of-8 field goals in last week’s loss to Zvezda, while Olympiacos can rely on excellence from Sasha Vezenkov after netting at least 19 points in seven games straight.

Real will also hope for more flawless perimeter shooting from Trey Lyles, who has made 10 triples without a miss in the last four games, while Juancho Hernangomez’s combination of three-point shooting and rebounding has a key role for Panathinaikos.

Bayern’s (10-15) late charge towards the playoff places faces its latest challenge with a visit from free-scoring Paris (8-16). Isiaha Mike netted 16 points on 7-of-8 field goal shooting in that win, but the real key was limiting Hapoel to just 64 points. That kind of stifling defense will be very much required to overcome a Paris team which ranks third in the league in scoring, and blasted 98 points to down Real Madrid last time out. Nadir Hifi got back to his best with 21 points including 4-of-8 triples, and minimizing his perimeter shooting will be a clear defensive priority for Bayern.

Reigning champ and league leader Fenerbahce (17-7) faces a major test with a road trip to Barcelona (16-9). The Spanish side has won three straight at home, but needs to prove it can compete with the best after suffering road losses against Olympiacos, Real Madrid and Fener itself in the last six weeks. The game in Istanbul was edged 72-71 by the Turkish team thanks to Wade Baldwin’s block on Kevin Punter’s potential game-winning shot, with Nicolo Melli grabbing 10 rebounds to underline his understated importance. But Barca can now again count on key man Will Clyburn, who returned from a seven-game absence by scoring 14 points in Piraeus last week. The sidelines duel between Xavi Pascual and his former player Saras Jasikevicius adds another twist of intrigue to a captivating contest.

Baskonia has been boosted by the return of three-point shooting expert Markus Howard, whose elusiveness will test Milan’s hard-working backcourt hustler Quinn Ellis – who lacks the support of injured again Leandro Bolmaro.

In Wednesday’s sole game, ASVEL (6-19) will attempt to finally grab its first road win of the season with a tough assignment at Virtus (12-13). The Italian team is riding a wave of optimism after Luca Vildoza’s last-second game-winner at Monaco last week, which also saw dynamic forward Derrick Alston continue his great form with a fourth straight double-digit scoring night. Virtus, just two wins short of the playoff places, will demand disciplined defense to subdue ASVEL’s impressive newcomer Braian Angola, whose 20 points nearly shocked Panathinaikos last week. The hosts will also look to cut off the supply lines provided by Thomas Heurtel, who dished 12 assists in that game. To boost its own scoring chances, Virtus will be able to welcome fit-again Carsen Edwards, who featured in the Italian League this past weekend.

Stats review: Elite pick and roll defense is powering this season’s contenders

Every single team in the playoff picture rose or slid in the standings this week in the clearest and most recent sign of just how competitive the league is at the moment. [Olympiacos Piraeus](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/teams/olympiacos-piraeus/roster/oly/) rose to second place, notching the lone head-to-head victory of the round over another team in the top six as the Reds secured [an 87-75 victory](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/news/tyrique-jones-brought-the-energy-on-both-ends-as-olympiacos-beat-barcelona/) over [FC Barcelona](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/teams/fc-barcelona/roster/bar/) at Peace and Friendship Stadium.      

While [Sasha Vezenkov](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/sasha-vezenkov/003469/), [Tyler Dorsey](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/tyler-dorsey/009849/), and [Tyrique Jones](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/tyrique-jones/011981/) were all bright spots offensively for the hosts, on defense Olympiacos held Barcelona’s ball handlers and roll men to just 8 total points in the pick-and-roll — Barca's lowest mark of the season.

The above table looks at the top teams in defensive efficiency, not just defending pick-and-roll ball handlers or roll men, but on all possessions created out of pick-and-rolls. It is no secret that pick-and-roll play is foundational to what most teams do on the offensive end in modern basketball, and with 45% of all half-court possessions being created out of pick-and-rolls in the EuroLeague this season, a defense’s ability to corral them is more significant than ever. 

With that in mind, it is not particularly surprising that this season’s top three teams in the standings fall within the top four in the list above. Olympiacos, [Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/teams/fenerbahce-beko-istanbul/ulk/), and [Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/teams/hapoel-ibi-tel-aviv/hta/) have all done a very good job getting stops when teams try to beat them with ball screens. 

How they get those stops tends to vary — sometimes wildly. While the end result is what matters in the table above, the process that goes into guarding pick-and-rolls is substantial.  In the first quarter of their win over Barcelona alone, Olympiacos used different levels of pressure, multiple types of hedges with its big men, iced a few actions toward the sideline, and played drop coverage on one occasion as it mixed things up en route to holding Barcelona to just 13 points in the opening period. Offenses are too sophisticated to be stymied by a single coverage. As a result, variety is not a strength as much as it is an imperative when it comes to how teams look to cover pick-and-rolls.

With so many moving parts involved in how teams defend ball screens, not only on the ball, but off it as well, it is worth noting this season’s standouts. Both Hapoel and Fenerbahce have excelled at slowing opposing ball handlers as the only two teams limiting opposing guards to fewer than 0.80 points per possession, while [AS Monaco](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/teams/as-monaco/mco/) has been this season’s top team defending roll men. Hapoel’s work closing out shooters off the ball has also been superlative, while Fenerbahce has allowed the fewest passes to finishers around the rim. [Paris Basketball](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/teams/paris-basketball/roster/prs/) has forced the highest volume of turnovers, while [Zalgiris Kaunas](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/euroleague/teams/zalgiris-kaunas/roster/zal/) has allowed the lowest overall shot quality, as there’s even a great deal of variety among this season’s situational leaders. 

How a team guards ball screens goes a long way towards the outcome of games in the EuroLeague and the chess matches taking place have been as good as ever this season. 

Olympiacos, Fenerbahce, and Hapoel lead the EuroLeague in stopping the action that defines nearly half of all half court possessions.

Age really is just a number for [Kostas Sloukas](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/kostas-sloukas/001926/), as the 36-year-old showed that he is still at the top of his game by taking home Round 25 MVP honors with a standout performance in Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens’s 78-79 road win at LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne.

Sloukas finished the game with 26 points on 2-of-4 two-pointers, 4-of-5 three-pointers and 10-of-10 free throws, adding 3 rebounds, 9 assists, 1 steal and 6 fouls drawn for a PIR of 36, the highest of any winning player in Round 25. Sloukas, a four-time EuroLeague champion with three different teams and the 2024 Final Four MVP with Panathinaikos, earned MVP of the Round honors for the sixth time in his career.

[Mfiondu Kabengele](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/mfiondu-kabengele/012796/) had the highest index rating of this round with a PIR of 40, but Dubai Basketball registered a 95-92 road loss at Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade. Kabengele had 24 points on 7-of-9 two-pointers, 2-of-2 three-pointers and 4-of-5 free throws, adding 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, 1 block and 6 fouls drawn.

[Tyrique Jones](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/tyrique-jones/011981/) of Olympiacos Piraeus and [Sylvain Francisco](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/sylvain-francisco/007975/) of Zalgiris Kaunas each had a PIR of 29 in Round 25. Jones led Olympiacos to an 87-75 home win over FC Barcelona with 16 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks. Francisco had 30 points on 11-of-11 free throws, 2 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal and 6 fouls drawn in a 102-91 losing effort against Kosner Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz.

[Braian Angola](https://www.euroleaguebasketball.net/en/euroleague/players/braian-angola/010465/) of ASVEL, with a PIR of 28, completes the top individual performances in this round. Angola posted 20 points, 2 rebounds, 7 assists and 9 fouls drawn in ASVEL’s defeat to Panathinaikos.

### Individual highs: Sylvain Francisco, Zalgiris, 30 points

Francisco was this round's top scorer with 30 points. Kendrick Nunn of Panathinaikos leads the scoring charts (19.43 PPG) over Sasha Vezenkov of Olympiacos (19.42 PPG).

Vezenkov led all rebounders in Round 25 by pulling down 11. His teammate Nikola Milutinov is the competition's best rebounder with 7.6 per night.

Thomas Heurtel of ASVEL was the only player to record double digits in assists this week, dishing 12. Codi Miller-McIntyre of Crvena Zvezda ranks first overall with 6.8 per night.

As many as seven players collected 3 steals apiece in Round 25. Alpha Diallo of AS Monaco leads the steals standings with 1.6 per night.

Mamadi Diakite of Baskonia, Walter Tavares of Real Madrid and Momo Faye of Paris Basketball each had 4 blocks in Round 25. Tavares is also atop the overall standings with 2.0 blocks per game.

Vezenkov (20 points, 11 rebounds) was the only player to register a double-double in this round.

Dubai got back to winning ways by beating Olympiacos 108-98 in overtime at Coca-Cola Arena on Tuesday evening. The hosts started strong and took a 52-40 lead at halftime, but Olympiacos fought back in the third quarter, trimming the deficit to 74-70 heading into the fourth, when the game turned into a back-and-forth affair. Mfiondu Kabengele made 2-of-2 from the line with 3 seconds to go, but Evan Fournier drilled one from deep, sending the game to overtime. Then Thomas Walkup nailed an open triple, which was Olympiacos’s only bucket in overtime as Dubai responded with a 13-0 run to seal the outcome.

Having registered its ninth home victory, Dubai improved its record to 12-14. Meanwhile, Olympiacos’s five-game winning run came to an end, with the Greek side dropping to 16-9. Dwayne Bacon and Mfiondu Kabengele scored 21 points each, with the latter also picking up 14 rebounds. McKinley Wright bagged 18 points and Aleksa Avramovic had 17 – 15 of which were scored in the first half. Tyler Dorsey recorded 18 points and Evan Fournier added 16 in a losing effort.

Efes returned to winning ways by downing Valencia 107-90 at Turkcell Basketball Development Center. Efes improved to 7-19 in the standings and snapped a nine-game losing streak. Valencia dropped to 17-9 and is now on a three-game road losing streak. Efes dominated from start to finish, leading 33-14 at the end of the first quarter and keep a sage margin all the way until the final buzzer. 

Ercan Osmani led the winners with 20 points and 7 rebounds for a PIR of 27. Jordan Loyd added 19 points against one of his former teams, Saben Lee netted 18, Kai Jones had a career-high 15 points on 7-of-7 two-pointers while PJ Dozier contributed 10 and 7 assists for Efes. Nate Reuvers led Valencia with 30 points on 6-of-8 three-point shooting. Darius Thompson added 11 points while Braxton Key had 10 for the visitors.

Zalgiris led from start to finish en route to thrashing visiting Monaco 104-87. With the victory, Zalgiris swept the regular-season series against Monaco and the two teams are now tied with 15-11 records.

Zalgiris opened the game with an 8-0 run, soon built a double-digit margin, and led 35-18 after 10 minutes in setting a club record for most points scored in the first quarter. Monaco never got closer than 14 points the rest of the game as Azuolas Tubelis starred with a personal-best 26 points and 7 rebounds, and Sylvain Francisco had 19 points and 8 assists. Dustin Sleva added 16 for the winners. For Monaco, which now has four straight losses, Mike James tallied a double-double of 19 points and 10 assists and Alpha Diallo had 16 points and 8 rebounds.

Jordan Nwora scored 11 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter, Jared Butler had 17 points and Codi Miller-McIntyre added 10 points and 9 assists. Hapoel’s recent struggles continued as it fell to 16-9. Chris Jones scored 16 points and Ish Wainright had 15 points for Hapoel, which has lost three straight without star guard Elijah Bryant.

Bayern’s (10-15) late charge towards the playoff places faces its latest challenge with a visit from free-scoring Paris (8-16). The German giant has won five of its last seven games, culminating in a remarkable triumph at league leader Hapoel in Round 25. Isiaha Mike netted 16 points on 7-of-8 field goal shooting in that win, but the real key was limiting Hapoel to just 64 points. That kind of stifling defense will be very much required to overcome a Paris team which ranks third in the league in scoring, and blasted 98 points to down Real Madrid last time out. Nadir Hifi got back to his best with 21 points including 4-of-8 triples, and minimizing his perimeter shooting will be a clear defensive priority for Bayern.

Baskonia has been boosted by the return of three-point shooting expert Markus Howard, whose elusiveness will test Milan’s hard-working backcourt hustler Quinn Ellis – who lacks the support of injured again Leandro Bolmaro.

In Wednesday’s sole game, ASVEL (6-19) will attempt to finally grab its first road win of the season with a tough assignment at Virtus (12-13). The Italian team is riding a wave of optimism after Luca Vildoza’s last-second game-winner at Monaco last week, which also saw dynamic forward Derrick Alston continue his great form with a fourth straight double-digit scoring night. Virtus, just two wins short of the playoff places, will demand disciplined defense to subdue ASVEL’s impressive newcomer Braian Angola, whose 20 points nearly shocked Panathinaikos last week. The hosts will also look to cut off the supply lines provided by Thomas Heurtel, who dished 12 assists in that game. To boost its own scoring chances, Virtus will be able to welcome fit-again Carsen Edwards, who featured in the Italian League this past weekend.
