Monaco breezed to a 100-80 home win over ALBA in Round 14 of the EuroLeague and improved to 9-5, while the visitors dropped to 3-11 after a lop-sided contest in the principality. All 12 Monaco players netted, with Vitto Brown leading the charge on 17 points. Georgios Papagiannis added 12, while Elie Okobo and Matthew Strazel chipped in with 10 each. At the other end. David McCormack and Yanni Wetzell bagged 16 points apiece and Matteo Spagnolo added 10 for the visitors, who were unable to complete a perfect double-round week after Wednesday’s 88-90 overtime win at Virtus.
Olympiacos Piraeus 90-96 Paris Basketball
In a roller-coaster game that went down to the wire, Paris came up with yet another shocker, beating Olympiacos 90-96 on Friday night at a sold-out Peace and Friendship Stadium. It is a 10th consecutive win for Paris, which improved to a league-best 11-3 record, while Olympiacos dropped to 9-5 on the season after suffering its first home defeat. Paris controlled the game from the get-go, then pulled away late in the third and in the fourth quarter, opening a 60-80 lead, only for Olympiacos to respond with a majestic 22-0 run. But Nadir Hifi, TJ Shorts and Maodo Lo hit a three-pointer apiece to secure another win for the league leaders.
Virtus Segafredo Bologna 87-94 Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade
Crvena Zvezda escaped with a valuable 87-94 victory at Virtus Segafredo Bologna in a game in which it needed to erase a 10-point deficit in the last quarter. The hosts dominated 75-65 with 6:38 minutes remaining, but a five-point play at that moment and an offensive demonstration led by Isaiah Canaan allowed Zvezda to come back and take advantage of Virtus’s nerves. With this win, the visitors improved to 7-7 whereas Virtus – with new head coach Dusko Ivanovic having to watch on from a courtside seat while interim boss Nenad Jakovljevic took charge – remains at the bottom of the standings with a 2-12 mark and six defeats in a row.
EA7 Emporio Armani Milan 92-84 LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne
Milan completed a perfect double-round week with a 92-84 home victory over ASVEL to extend its winning streak to five games. Milan gained control of the game with a 16-5 run spanning the final two quarters for its first 10-point lead to improve to 8-6 with seven wins in the last eight games. The Italians also are 6-2 at home, including five straight victories at Unipol Forum.

Zalgiris Kaunas 85-72 Anadolu Efes Istanbul
Zalgiris snapped its two-game losing streak by topping Efes at home in the Round 14 opener on Thursday. Zalgiris improved to 8-6 in the standings while Efes dropped to 7-7. Lonnie Walker paced the winners with 18 points and Sylvain Francisco added 16. Elijah Bryant led Efes with 23 points.
Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv 86-88 FC Barcelona
Barcelona snapped its four-game losing streak by edging Maccabi at Aleksandar Nikolic Hall. The hosts were up by 16 (53-37) early in the third quarter, but Barcelona bounced back, outscored Maccabi 42-51 in the second half and clinched a hard-fought victory. The Catalans improved their record to 8-6, while Maccabi dropped to 4-10. Kevin Punter and Jabari Parker paced Barcelona with 18 points each. Jaylen Hoard led all scorers with 20 points in a losing effort.
Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade 91-73 Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens
Partizan earned an impressive home win over defending champion Panathinaikos, stretching its winning streak to four games and improving to 6-8, while the Greens slipped to 8-6 after a rip-roaring contest in the Belgrade Arena. Carlik Jones paced the winners with 18 points and Tyrique Jones posted a double-double as Partizan won the battle of the boards 34-26. At the other end, Kostas Sloukas led Panathinaikos with 15 points.
FC Bayern Munich 94-80 Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz
Bayern used an outstanding second half to beat Baskonia and improve to 9-5 in the standings. Carsen Edwards scored all of his 27 points after the break. Andreas Obst and Devin Booker each added 18 points for Bayern, which buried 18 of 30 three-pointers. Chima Moneke had 25 points and 11 rebounds for Baskonia, which dropped to 6-8 in the league table. Baskonia led 56-61 after 27 minutes but a 16-0 run put Bayern in charge for good.
Real Madrid 70-82 Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul
Fenerbahce left no doubt about its power by topping Real 70-82 in the Spanish capital. Nigel Hayes-Davis led the way with 33 points. He had never scored more than 17 points against Los Blancos before. Wade Baldwin added 10 for Fenerbahce, which committed just 8 turnovers. Facu Campazzo led Real with 14 points and 6 assists. Fenerbahce improved to 10-4 in the standings while Real dropped to 6-8.
