Ante Tomic signs new deal at Joventut until 2028

Joventut Badalona has confirmed that center Ante Tomic has signed a new two-year deal with an option for an additional year, which would see him remain at the Spanish club until the summer of 2028.
Tomic, 38, is in his fifth season with Joventut and is the foreign player that has played the most games in the club's history with 271 in all competitions.
All five of the Croatian big man's BKT EuroCup seasons have come with Joventut, but he already ranks 12th all-time in accumulated PIR (1,345), sixth in two-pointers made (399), eighth in defensive rebounds (350) and ninth in total rebounds (481).
Despite last playing in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague in the 2019-20 season, Tomic still ranks high in several all-time categories, being 20th in accumulated PIR (3,723), fourth in two-pointers made (1,137), ninth in offensive rebounds (520), 13th in defensive rebounds (1,025), ninth in total rebounds (1,545), and being tied 18th in blocks (155). He spent three seasons in the EuroLeague with Real Madrid (2009-12) and eight campaigns with FC Barcelona (2012-20).
