Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul bolstered its frontcourt by signing center Furkan Haltali to a one-year deal, the club announced Monday. Haltali (2.07 meters, 21 years old) arrives from Pinar Karsiyaka Izmir, where he averaged 6.1 points and 3.8 rebounds in 35 Turkish League games last season. He started his career with Bandirma Kirmizi and also played for Teksut Bandirma, Besiktas Istanbul and Anadolu Efes Istanbul before joining Karsiyaka.

Haltali has been a member of the Turkish national team. He helped Turkiye win a silver medal at the 2019 U18 European Championships and a bronze medal at the 2018 U16 European Championships. Haltali also won the Turkish League with Efes in 2023.
