Wolves move for Marek Blazevic
Wolves Twinsbet Vilnius have confirmed the arrival of Marek Blazevic on a one-year deal.
Blazevic (2.11 meters, 22 years old) has spent last two seasons with Obradoiro in Spain, averaging 7.5 points and 3.9 rebounds in 32 Spanish League games in 2023-24. By joining Wolves, the Lithuanian center returns to his hometown of Vilnius.
This coming season will also see Blazevic make his return in the BKT EuroCup, having played for Rytas Vilnius in the competition in the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons. After coming through at Rytas and staying there until 2019, he then made the switch to Zalgiris Kaunas, which allowed him to play in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.
Blazevic went on to play 33 games in Europe's premier club basketball competition over the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons before heading to Spain. Now, he's back in Lithuania and will be keen to fire Wolves to the EuroCup Playoffs for the first time.
